Video cards

I bought a video card in December, an ATI Radeon 9550 and I am not happy with it at all, it crashed my computer then caused my monitor to go crazy. I had found a fix on a forum, but my computer died after I downloaded it and I had to start all over again. Now I can’t find that dang download!

The bad part is that I tried to get help though ATI and they told me that the card was fine and that it didn’t work with my computer, so when I asked them what would, they told me the same card I had, I’m thinking they have no clue what there doing.

I found a great post written by a fellow blogger about the pros and cons of working from home. He makes some really great points in his post about the wonderful visions many people have when they think of telecommuting or freelancing, mostly these visions involve travel and lots of free time.

This is not true at all, if your starting from scratch, you don’t have the time or money to travel. Your too busy working your butt off! Now if you telecommute that is a different story as it is usually at a job that will pay for your time, not your effort. It would be nice if it were all free time and play, but it’s just not the way it is. Of course, if you have a spouse with a good job it may be different for you and you may be able to afford some free time.

Music

I am a huge fan of country music, I just love it. I know so many people who hate it though and I really wish they would give the new stuff a chance. Of course if your only into goth medal, then I understand and your not included. The people that annoy me are the ones who claim they hate country, but once the song is on a top 40 station, they love it, then claim it’s not country, it’s rock.

I’m open minded and like all kinds of music, I even listen to opera sometimes, hey play it at 3am really loud and see how scared your neighbors get. Think about it, when somebody dies in a movie they play one of 2 things, rap or opera.

Going green

I’m an interior design student and one big thing we look into is our effect on the environment. Because of this I have become very interested in all the new technology that has come out to help save our plant. Heres my question though, is it even worth it. Do we actually have a chance to save it, or is there nothing to worry about and it’s all a bunch of bull made up by people who want to live in the stone age?

Personally I think it’s real, I don’t think we are going to die tomorrow, but I think that there are some things going on, but not all are our fault. There is a cycle that the earth goes through and I think it’s just doing it’s thing, but we may have sped it up.

Wax and fire and more!

Looking for a great business that you can run at home, on line or both? Do you like crafty things and candles? Well I have a great business for you then.

It’s called Down the trodden path and they sell candles, warmers and baskets. This is a program that I myself am thinking of doing. It is really easy to sign up and the best part is you don’t have to buy anything yourself! There is also no minimum purchase commissions and there are two down line levels.

They also pay via pay pal or check once a month on the 15th. This may seem like a downfall if your looking for money quickly, but trust me eventually you get use to that payment date, and you get more money at once.

Check it out and as always let me know if it works well for you!
