Modern Weddings

Today my little sisters friend is getting married. Right now they are hoping that the rain will stop and that it will turn out to be a nice day. What I find strange about this wedding is that they are doing pictures before the wedding. Now the reason I find this strange is that usually it is bad to see the bride before the wedding, but I have heard that taking pictures before the wedding is a new trend.
I do like the idea, that way your not making your guest wait for you to finish pictures, but again it is going against a tradition. Maybe our society is just starting to change and some of these traditions that you find in weddings and other major life events will start to disappear. What do you think?
