I have been trying for years to lose weight. I have been heavy all of my life and it seems like everything I tried did not work well enough. I tried the, shakes, the bars and even a diet patch but I couldn’t seem to keep the weight off.

Now that I’m diabetic I have been introduced to the best thing in the world. Eating right, that is what was missing. All of the things I tried didn’t work because I wasn’t eating the way I should. Now I wasn’t eating horribly or anything. I ate my veggies and watched what I ate. The problem was I didn’t know what a serving of something really looked like. I didn’t know what was really bad for me that I thought was good. Now I know better and I think that many people could benefit from this. We need to put this back into schools. At least teach these kids how to really read a nutrition label and show them what a serving really is. It could save there life.

  1. Can I have your diet, please?

  2. Well my diet is really for diabetics, but it pretty much follows on how everyone else should eat.

i think the one big part of my lifestyle change is knowing how much a serving really is. Look at the label and measure out one serving.

Other then that things are different for everyone. If you want to lose weight try talking to a nutritionist. Some insurances will cover this.
