What you see is now going to be closer to what you get. Have you ever been shopping in a department store and saw an outfit on one of there mannequins and thought I love it! I must have! Then you get into the dressing room and it looks horrible. Nothing like that wonderful plastic perfect mannequin looked like. So you get depressed and go home and eat ice cream.
Now the good news. The leading department store in Britain has decided to buy size 12 mannequins and use those for display along with the size 10. I think this is a great idea, it will get people use to seeing a bigger size. It’s also closer to the average size women in Britain. My hope is that is crosses over the big pond and makes a huge splash over here in the U.S. It would be nice for people to have an idea of what healthy looks like.
