Have you ever signed up for a cell phone plan only to get home and see that it does not cover your area. I get it all the time, well I don’t buy the phone first, but there are only 2 local carriers that cover my area none of the big guys really do.

Yes you can get service, some of the time, but you can’t get a local number and many of the features you pay for don’t work. My mother is having this problem with her phone. She doesn’t get service most of the time and it’s hard on her because we need the phone to contact her.  I have told her to try cell phone booster because I used one when I had a cell phone and it worked well, not the best but it helped. Of course when I was in the area or close to the coverage area it worked really well and I almost never had a dropped call.

I really think that if these companies are going to offer nationwide coverage, they need to take a look at a map and see what they cover and what they pretend to cover.
