I am so tired of looking into magazines and seeing women who are barely there. There so thin I feel I could break them in half by blowing on them. What is this message sending to young girls, well it’s telling them that they must starve themselves to be thin and if there not thin they are not beautiful.

If your a parent or a teen looking for a different point of view check out this blog The Curvalicious Movement. This blog has wonderful information for bigger women and some great pictures of real women celebs and models. There are even some great tips on how to dress to make yourself look and feel so much better. There is nothing wrong with being a big women, personally I think anyone over a size 5 looks healthy but according to the fashion and entertainment industry they are too big and ugly. I’m starting to think these people are idiots!

Sometimes I wonder if I am good enough to become famous at something I love. I’m going to school for interior design and I could become well known for that. I also sing and have been told I am very good at that also, but am I good enough to become famous and make the big bucks.

Talent Rock is a site that features new talent. I loved it because the article on the homepage was about a man from Flint Michigan. around an hour or so from where I live. It’s nice to see that someone close to your area has made it big. Of course Flint has produced alot of famous people and so has the state of Michigan itself.

I don’t know if I will ever try to be one of those that make it onto this site, but it’s a fun thought for now.

I’m sure many of you know about the statement made by president Bush this week. yet again he has stuck his foot in his mouth. Do I agree with the intent of the message? Yes I do. Do I like how it was put forth. No. I think using world war III as an example was a bad choice. Right now most of the world is against the idea of war. I know I as an American am really just tired of hearing about wars. Countries need to go back to taking care of there own people and leaving others alone. Of course when I say this I am mostly talking about the wonderful USA.

This war has been going on since I graduated from high school 6 years ago. We have not done anything helpful to this country. Instead we live in fear and spend billions of dollars helping people in other countries when there are starving and under insured people here! Now I’m not saying it is wrong to help others, but you should be helping your citizens first. Unfortunately our president and congress have already proved that a war is more important then the health of our nations children.

What has the world come to?

yesterday I was talking with a women online about some health products. She kept going on and on about this colon cleanse thing and how well it worked. She said it detoxifies the body and makes you clean. I started laughing sitting here at my computer because I just don’t see the point of this stuff. Antioxidants, yes I keep my intake up on those, but taking a pill to cleanse your body just does not sound right.

Maybe I’m just not into the trends or up on the latest in health, but I’m thinking I will stick to what I’m doing and let me doctor tell me what will make my body feel better. Of course nothing against someone who likes this kind of thing. I have heard of many people who use these products and love them. My question is does it really help or is it just mind over matter?

This may not be new news to some people, but after hearing a few rumors and now the story on yahoo I had to say something. Dumbledoor is Gay and I think it’s the best twist to theĀ  Harry Potter series!

Why is it such a big deal, nothing changes for the books. There still the same. I personally find it amusing and am awaiting the backlash from parents who are scared that now there child will be gay because the read the books. Trust me it will happen. Also as the article states. The groups that already hate the book will just hate it more now as they have a new reason for it to be banned from the shelves.

I think it will be interesting to see what all of this does for the new movie coming out.

Check out the story on Yahoo

Lately I have been looking at so many different things for a project I am doing for school. It has made me look at things so differently. I am learning about the world and what people are actually going though in different countries. I like it as I have come to realize that I do have more then I thought. I am able to have a choice at what I do and who I am around. I also am able to go to school and learn about anything i choose. I can buy things like candy and home theater chairs or a big screen tv and a ipod.

If you go to other countries you can not always get these things. I think that many Americans take for granted what we have and don’t look at how much of a blessing it really is. The choices we are allowed to make are amazing and we have a freedom that is rarely seen though out the world. I think in the last few years we have forgotten about that. We have forgotten what it’s like to speak up for yourself and tell people how you want to be treated. We also have forgotten that not everyone lives as we do, but maybe war is not the answer, but education and general knowledge would be a better path to take.
