No I’m not talking about money, even though money can be fun too and you will need it to buy these green items. What I am talking about are environmental products. There are many products out there that are helpful to our environment and there is a great website called Green and More that has many different kinds of green items. Some that you would never think of or believe.
I think so far my favorite is a children’s toy called The Horizon Fuel Cell H-Racer. What is different about this toy, well it uses water, not batteries. How about that for a Christmas gift for your child this Christmas? This site also has a section called luxury gifts that include vacuums, chairs, and a really cool induction wok that I want!
Green and More also carries home improvement items and another favorite of mine, wind up LED flashlights. No more walking around in the dark because your flashlight doesn’t have batteries when the power goes out. I’m thinking of getting one for me, my mom and my sisters.
Since starting school for interior design my main focus of study has been about the environment. There are so many things we can do to keep our world clean and save for the health of our children and there children. I love when new products or ideas come out that can help us live cleaner. I know many people don’t think theres a global warming issue, but is using something that is clean that hard to do. Look again at the examples above. They will not only help the environment, but save you money on batteries and in the case of the flashlight some bumps and bruises too.
