Do you go to movies anymore? I don’t go much. It cost too much money and in my case it’s a good half hour drive from the country where I live, so I movie cost me at least $50. That is just for me with no snacks! I think that is just too much to spend.

My biggest reason for not going to the movies is because I just don’t think the quality of the movies are the same as they use to be. There are a few of course, but not as many as there use to be. I love something that has a story to it, it can be funny, but not the type that makes you sick. Of course these are the movies that sell. So they will keep making them.

Maybe I am just outgrowing the general movie audience. I’m just tired of seeing the same movie over and over again. Okay, it’s not the same movie, but the plot is always the same. This is one reason I don’t watch scary movies anymore, there all the same thing. Girl screams and hides upstairs so eventually the killer gets her.

Am I the only one with this issue?

  1. It’s very rare that we go to the movies but our reason is that we are rarely kid-free! And if we have to take the kids, it can cost us over $100!

I agree with you that the movies seem to be “the same”…especially the ones that are for the teen audience. There haven’t been that many previews lately where I’ve said “I wouldn’t mind seeing that one”.
