Why does it seem that as gas prices rise, no one is willing to do anything about it. Oh that may be because anyone who can loves it because now they are making more money! I really wish that we would spend more time researching other methods of fuel but again just like with the war, change will not come until there is a change in the white house.

I hate this because I don’t have the option of not driving, I have to go to class, if I don’t I fail, if I drop I have to pay $300 a month in student loan payments that I don’t have. I just feel like my government could give a crap about me, they care more about Iraq and how there citizens are then here, I mean thats nice and all, but when your own people are starving and losing there jobs or being thrown out of there homes, wouldn’t you be paying attention to them, no our president is too worried about his oil stock, to care about the people of this country, and this is the reason I never voted for him and this is the reason I am voting Democrat. Sorry guys but for now the Republicans have lost my vote. I’m not affiliated with a party, I choose based on the candidate usually, but you realize that it will be much easier to get laws to stop the war and get other things going passed if we have a democrat for a president?

Maybe I’m just a crazy young girl who knows nothing, but while I’m sitting here typing in the cold, because we can’t afford the $1000 a month propane bill. The rich are sitting nice and warm with there oil money! The horrible part is, there are many people who worse off then I am!
