The other day I was in school and talking with a friend of mine, she told me she just got a birthday card in the mail from her broker. She was surprised as they bought there home just over a year ago. My friend did say it has made her tell more people about her broker and refer them to her. She also decided that she’s thinking of telling her boss about this service, she is a designer at a small firm and she thinks it would be nice addition to there client service.
I like this idea as something so simple can really help out a business. Knowing that they at least took the time to write down that information and either send out the card themselves or have a company do it for them. Yes there are companies that do this type of thing for you. One I’ve seen is called Client Gift Services. They offer many types of client gifts from cards to candies.
This is a great way to show your clients you care at least enough to add them to a list pay for the gift they receive and the service itself, but it’s worth the good publicity you will get when they receive their gift. Today it seems that everyone forgets who gives them there paycheck, so this would be a great way to stand out and show them you don’t fall into that category.
