One thing I have always had a problem with is my checking accounts. For a while I was fine. I worked in retail and got around 35 to 40 hours a week. I lived at home. Things were good. Then I moved out on my own and thats where the trouble started.

My hours at work dropped and of course things started bouncing and causing fee’s and so on. The problem was not that I wrote bad checks the problem was my bank wasn’t telling me until 4 days later that a check cleared. So I would pull money out I thought was in my account only to get a fee later. Nice huh?

I have heard some great things though about wamu personal checking accounts and may try them once I’m done with school and can pay back that horrible bank I was with. Right now I have a checking account through the college I go to and that has been a lifesaver. So I don’t need a new account right now, but I will when I’m done with school and hopefully have a better job.
