I open up yahoo’s homepage today and their top story is 33 cent gas. I’m thinking what happened? I knew it was a mistake we just got gas for 2.97 and were really happy. So I click on the article and start to feel really bad for the station owner.

A clerk working at the station inputed the amount wrong so instead of putting 3.299 per gallon they put 32.9. Now that would have been a nice fill up, but being the outside sign had the correct price, I probably would have stayed away. That is alot of money for a gas station owner to lose. They still have to pay for all of the gas that people bought.  Personally I think that they should have to be charged full price for it, since as adults you should know better. It would be easy to find them as they had to use credit cards to buy the gas.

It still is a nice thought though, $.33 gas. Was it ever that low? I haven’t been alive long enough to know. Maybe one day we will get lucky and that will be the cost of whatever green fuel we come up with. Wouldn’t that be nice.
