If Only I could
Saturday, December 29, 2007 16:50This year I was invited by an old friend of mine to a new years party, the problem is she lives 2 hours away and I have no car, I would love to go, but I can’t. We met in Jr high and have been friends ever since. I moved the year after we met and we still have kept in touch. Strange how things like that happen.
I think of her a lot, she has cerebral palsy and every time I hear about it, she pops into my head. At my college graduation our speaker also had cerebral palsy and I was amazed at what he had done in his lifetime, surprised, no. My friend has also done alot and is a very strong person because of what she had to deal with. She is is great friend and after everything I have dealt with this year it would have been great to see her. Hopefully I can get down that way soon. It’s strange what you start to think about this time of year isn’t it?
