There are many places out there today where you can get a good discount on things. No I’m not talking about Walmart. I’m talking about discount book stores and discount car lots. Actually now that I think about it, most regular dealerships are starting to offer a ton of discounts on things.
You can get online coupons, I’ve talked about these before and they help you to buy anything you would need for any part of your life. There are also discount home decor stores like directbuy. Where you can get a area rug or a new dinning set at a discount price.
I just find it amazing that we have so many discount stores. I shop at them, my question is does anyone else?

I’d imagine they’re getting more popular as the economy seems to be tanking a bit and people are starting to watch how they spend their money.

I have always tried to shop at discount businesses. I have saved a lot of money over my life time. I have taught both of my daughters to spend their money wisely. Why would a person want to spend more on the same item if they can get it cheaper some place else like a discount store? I sure wouldn’t spend more. So save on groceries, clothing to cars. All of these items are disposable. Use your hard earned money on real estate, gold jewelry and things that are of value.

Mikster I would have to agree with you completely on that one. I have seen a lot more people at the dollar store lately.
My mom found a great deal today, it’s kinda sad but it was still a good deal. A local dollar store is closing and she got 1/2 off everything and it was also buy one get one free.
It’s a good deal, but a sad sign of the times.
