I have seen a lot more people at the dollar store lately. My mom found a great deal today, it's kinda sad but it was still a good deal. A local dollar store is closing and she got 1/2 off everything and it was also buy one get one free. It's a good deal, but a sad sign of the times. I have saved a lot of money over my life time. I have taught both of my daughters to spend their money wisely. Why would a person want to spend more on the same item if they can get it cheaper some place else like a discount store? I sure wouldn't spend more. So save on groceries, clothing to cars. All of these items are disposable. Use your hard earned money on real estate, gold jewelry and things that are of value. I have always tried to shop at discount businesses.
