Now that I am going to school for interior design, my friends keep asking me to find things for them cheep. For some reason they think I have the inside scoop on home depot and walmart. They ask for things like $30 sinks and cheep popup tv lifts. They see them in an ad and think I can get them cheaper.

The thing is I might be able to get some of the things they wanted if I was working in the field. Right now I’m just a student and even if I had a job I wouldn’t be able to get that stuff for them anyway, I’m sure most companies have a policy against that. What sucks about all of this is that my friends are starting to get mad at me and put me down because I can’t get this stuff for them.

I just love the people I know really, oh and by the way when I say “friends” there really just people I knew in high school who use people to get what they want.  Gotta love how myspace connects people.

  1. I don’t know, tell them you have to check your crystal ball and see what you can find or maybe if they can hold on while you wave your magic wand, you’ll have an answer for them soon.

Maybe they trust your opinion since you are in that ID field. People ask me photography, finance and web related questions all the time. I’m the go to girl.
