I was so excited, my mother stayed home sick today from work so I figured I could run out and do some shopping while she rested. I was looking forward to shopping on my own as i haven’t been able to.

Well she just ruined that idea. Every time I want to go out shopping she has to come with me. It’s driving me crazy! I hate not having my own car. I just once want to go out and get things that she won’t let me have. Yes, I’m 25 and I can’t have certain things. Like personal stuff. I have decided that my mom wants me to be alone for the rest of my life, she buys me clothes that make me look 90, she is always trying to make me look like a boy and she goes everywhere with me!

I’m just frustrated. I need to move and I can’t. I can’t find work. Making money online is going great, but not great enough for me to live off of on my own. I guess I just will have to deal like always. I keep telling myself “you will be alone and living here forever” I think once I convince myself of this it won’t be so bad, but I always have that tiny bit of hope, hope sucks! :)

  1. Holly,
You will feel a lot stronger when you are able to take care of all your own bills. Your mom won’t have that power over you. At some point, you will need a good job that pays the bills you plan to have: apartment, utilities, food, clothes, car, gas, insurance, beer. (You’re 25, so I’m just guessing on the beer.) Blogging will probably never get you there financially. You will need a normal job. Look for one that pays benefits, too. Health insurance is really important.
Start figuring out what you want, how much it costs, and then start looking for jobs that will get you there. Make lists. Set goals. Holly, you can do it!

  2. I am going to school right now so I am working on getting that job. It’s still going to be another year or so before I can really get into a good one. I’m still looking but until then blogging is helping me pay bills and catch up on some things.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.
