What if one day you were sitting there eating wonderful seafood by the ocean when you ringpick up a Gulf oysters open it up and find a diamond or a ring. I like that idea I love anything shiny of course personally I would be happy to find a pearl too. Of course maybe it wouldn’t be anything close to that maybe it would be a ticket that you have to pay or a regular old rock. That of course would stink and I would demand a new oyster!

Eating oysters is fun and they are very good even though I don’t get to eat them often. Actually it’s been a few years since I had one, but did you know that eating undercooked oysters can be dangerous to your health? At Be Oyster Aware I found out that being a diabetic means that I really need to watch and make sure my oysters are fully cooked. This was something I didn’t really ever think about. I had no idea that eating an undercooked oyster could cause me health problems.
