I just talked to a friend of mine who has been looking at  Branson real estate since she just got a job in the area and is moving. She asked me what I thought she should do. She originally decided that she wanted to build a home so she was looking for land. Now though with the housing crisis she’s thinking it may be better to buy an existing home. I agree with her, she has the money to do it and I think she would get a much better deal.

I hate that so many people are effected by this, but as I pointed out to my friend, if you buy one home, that is one less person trying to sell their home. Even just your sale will help the economy by taking that home off the market. For someone like my friend that is how she needs to look at it. She feels bad that someone may lose money on there home because she can afford to give them what it was worth, but she will still be helping them by buying it so they don’t have to try to pay that mortgage anymore or at least be able to get out from a home they can’t afford.

I wish I had money right now to buy homes. I would buy them fix them up and sell them when the economy was better. Of course I would probably rent them until that time since then I wouldn’t have to worry about making payments on them.
