How I spent my earth hour
Sunday, March 30, 2008 2:12After turning everything in my room off and lighting a few candles. I sat down and started reading a book I have had for a year but never read. It was a wonderful experience. I was so relaxed and just enjoyed myself. I loved it so much that I only took one electric break, after 9pm to make some tea and get my snack. I then sat and read for another hour.
This was a great experience for me and I think it is something I’m going to try to do at least once a month. I think next time I’ll head to the library for the book as the one I’m reading now will be finished by tomorrow. When I’m done I’ll write a review about it. I really can’t explain how relaxed and unstressed I am right now. It’s strange how things happen is it not?

I buy a lot of books but don’t have the time to read them any more. I do, but just not as much as before. It is good when I get a little quiet time to read for an hour or more. It happens so rarely any more, but it is worth trying to carve it out. And you have been tagged.
