If someone told me 2 years ago that I would turn into a girl that was obsessed with shoes I would have told you to kill me. Now though I am finding I want to get lots of shoes to go with many different outfits. Some of them I will actually need to get shoes for when I get a job, you know dress shoes, but I am finding I also need black shoes, tsubo shoes, purple shoes, seychelles shoes and red shoes. Okay I really just want a shoe in every color I can get one in.

Yes I have gotten that bad. Luckily I have a new shoe source, Infinity shoes and I am going crazy over their selection. They actually have shoes I like and I have already found a pair of minnetonka boots that one of my friends would love for her birthday. I can multi task right?

I spent some time reading this morning and I was saddened by some of the things I read. People are selling most of their belongings just to pay bills and keep from losing their homes. Now I’m not talking about replaceable things like a TV or a mp3 player, but things that have been in families for generations. These things they will probably never see again. It’s hard when you have to go though things like this. Losing things that mean a lot so you is hard, I know I have lost many things over the years most of it was destroyed in a tornado that hit the shed I had my things in when I moved back from Texas. I flew back and was going to go back and get my stuff, but then it was too late.

Right now everyone is experiencing that loss and it’s so hard. Yet the president and other government officials think that we are just in a slowdown, what does it feel like to you, a slowdown or a recession?

I hate it when I pick up the phone and I can’t tell who is calling me, what makes it worse is when they don’t leave a message and get mad when you don’t call them back. Now these are people I know who get mad I just don’t get it. Anyway I started useing Reverse Phone Lookupsto find out who it might be calling me. Sometimes it’s a cell phone so I don’t get much information, but still that’s better then nothing right.

The one good thing I have noticed is that we are getting less anoying phone calls since I signed up for the National No Call Registry. This is a great free service that allows you to remove your phone number from the telemarketers system. Too bad it doesn’t work for collection calls!

Have you ever been listening to a song and it feels as though it’s the theme song for that moment? I know I have in fact I just did that’s why I’m writing this. I love it when you get a song on your mp3 player or hear it on the radio and it just seems to fit that moment. Right now I’m at school drafting and was actually in a very pissy mood until I heard a great song on my mp3 player.

Now I’m in a better mood and working much faster. Okay so I’m takeing a break right now, but that is because my hand hurts from drawing. Oh why am I in a bad mood your wondering, well because I missed my diabetes class it wasn’t where I thought it was so now I have to wait until June to talk to them. Oh well I’ll live I guess.

Blinds are very important when you are designing a home, why? Well not only do they provide privacy but they also will keep out heat, cold and keep your furniture and carpet from fadeing. If you get the right kind of blinds you can lower your heating and cooling cost and save yourself some money so look around and find ones that are right for your home. There are many types for all types of windows. You can even have custom blinds made for those half circle windows that are hard to cover. Most people love to let the sunlight in so I reccomend finding blinds that will allow you to open the window and hide the blinds when you don’t want them there, but also ones that will cover the window when you do need them.

I’m one of those people who don’t choose a candidate based on anything but what that person themselves stands for. In January I believed that Hillary was a good choice for the job as president. Now I am a supporter of Obama. Why, well because I don’t agree with how Hillary has handled herself and some of the things she stands for. While I don’t agree with everything Obama has said either, I think he is a better person for the job.

The main reason being his background and what he has been though in life. He was poor he knows what it’s like to be on assistance and need help. He also speaks well which for me right now is a huge deal. I can not stand listening to Bush talk. I think we need a president who can command the attention of the citizens of the united states and people all over the world. This man could possibly do just that. My mom compares him to Kennedy. She has liked Obama since before he decided to run for president. Even then he knew how to grab your attention.

I think the problem with this election is that everyone wants and needs change, both of the democratic candidates are pushing for change and both could do it. On the Republican side I also think McCain could make some changes, but at the same time he supports things I don’t support. This election is monumental not just because of who is running but what this election will mean for the future of the united states and the world. I believe this is a huge turning point in our history and when they look back on it, I hope they will see a great and wonderful outcome, not just more war and violence.

One thing that I have always wanted to put into a home I will eventually own is a tankless water heater. There are many good reasons to use one, they heat water fast so you don’t have to wait for it. Also you never run out of hot water. It’s also nice because a tankless water heater can save you cash too. The energy used to run a tankless heater is much less then is used to run a regular water heater. Instead of energy used to heat gallons of water several times a day you only need to heat what you are going to use that minute.

This helps not only you get ready for your day quicker, but lowers the emissions from our energy use. It also will help lower your electric or heating bill depending on what type of energy you use to heat your water. Example, my mom has propane, she has no choice unless she switches to electric. So if she installed a tankless heater she could save hundreds of dollars off her propane bill. Now thats a nice idea.
