McCains Great Pick
Yes I am an Obama supporter, but I still look at both candidates and I have to say I like McCain’s pick for VP. She’s a new fresh face and female, we all know what he’s after there. Frankly if I were him I would have done the same thing. He knows the type of people he needs to try to get over to his side, women with families and other working class people.
I have respect for both McCain and his VP. McCain served our country while his VP has 5 kids, I don’t have 5 kids, but I’m the second oldest of 5 and really helped to raise my little sisters and brother. I know how hard it is for a mother to raise 5 kids. My mom did it alone as my step dad was on the road most of the time.
What I hope that people remember, mostly the women who supported Hillary, is that you need to look not only at the sex of the person, but what they believe in, what they really stand for and what they may actually be able to do in their office. Remember the president only has as much power as congress gives them, but once they have approval for something it’s hard to take it back.
