Hurricans and Vacations
Sunday, August 31, 2008 8:38I was reading about a couple yesterday who were vacationing in Cuba, they were upset because the hurrican has ruined their vacation. Everything is closed including the hotel. I actually had to laugh that these people, do they even pay attention when they plan things like this? This couple was from Europe so maybe they just don’t pay attention to hurricanes like we do.
I do find myself wondering about the people that book Caribbean cruises and vacations at this time of year. You have to know you run the chance of it being ruined by a hurricane. Yes the prices are probably much cheaper, but there is a reason for that!

When I was a student I worked in hotel as a chambermaid, on one occasion there was a guest who complained because she caught the flu. Like we gave it to her on purpose LOL
