It is very cold out right now and I keep thinking about birds that are left here to try to survive the winter. We found a white pidgin a few weeks ago with it’s wings clipped and every time I look at it I think that the birds outside need to be fed. We had a small bird feeder but I want eventually to get hummingbird feeders and some other bird feeders for our yard.

I know in my area feeding the birds is a big deal and usually the bird seed at the local stores are sold out. I love watching the birds in the yard and so does my cat. She loves to watch the birds play in the yard and tries to chase after them, that usually last until she tries to run outside and realizes it is really cold. It’s actually kind of funny when you watch her.

I like the feeders that look pretty and add something more to the yard then the cheep plastic on that we picked up at the local store. I am thinking that I may get my mom one of the two pictured on this post. I love both of them and eventually may get one for myself, but that will be once I get my own place and am able to put out whatever I want to.
