Christmas Shopping For A Friend
I just found out a few days ago that a close friend of mine is having a baby. I don’t really have a lot of money to get her anything for Christmas and I didn’t plan on getting friends anything, but she has no money and the father took off on her. I have decided that I have to get her something and I have decided that right now she needs maternity clothes so that she actually has something she can wear soon.
My friend is always wearing nice clothing and I want to be able to get her something she will actually wear. I really like the shirt I have pictured here and would love to get it for her, but with money tight I will probably either have to wait to get it until after the holiday or pick out something else. After looking around at maternity clothing I have found that some of it is decently prices while some is really expensive. I think I’m going to have to make a few calls to some of our old friends and see if they are willing to help this poor girl out.
I know she can get some help with food and so on, but she’s had a hard time, like me, finding work and government help does not buy clothing, at least not until the baby is born and you can get cash assistance, if you qualify. These are reasons I wish I made more money. I want to help people and I can’t.
