Dish Network Scamming Their Customers
Do you have Dish Network. We do and I have to say I’m not happy with it. The channel selection sucks, you can not move with your system as they tell you you can, unless you buy directly though the company. You also now get charged for not having your system hooked to a phone line.
Why are they charging you? Well some people, including my family have had to disconnect the phone line because the frequencies in the area cause porn and other movies to be ordered. In fact my mom’s box still comes on in the middle of the night for no reason. Now you would think you could call the company and explain it, well we did they said they put a waver on it and we had no charges, now they said there never was one and they backdates the charges.
You do know why they are doing this, they want your TV to magically order movies, most people use pay per view a lot and don’t look at their bill. We almost never use it. Recently we have more as my sister bf, who just moved in likes watching UFC. Other then that we never order movies. There just to expensive. Think about it though, if you order a lot of movies, you may not check to see what they were you may just pay your bill, now the company is making a ton of money off your stupidity. Don’t take offense, most people are just too busy to notice.
My advice to you is check your bill and make sure you are actually ordering what it says. Just remember though, don’t disconnect that phone line or you’ll have to pay for it. It’s ridiculous and should not be allowed to happen, but the company is trying to make up for the scam money they are losing after all.
