Walking and Staying Fit

My new workout plan starts tomorrow. I’m going to make myself get up at 7 am and walk the dog. It’s really not too bad as I’m usually up then anyway. I was thinking 6 am would be better, but we have buses coming down the roads out here at that time and there are no sidewalks. I figure I can just wait until they are done with their routes out here and walk then.

I’m hopeing it will help my blood sugar a little. I know they said that because I was on insulin I couldn’t do anything before I ate, but now I’m not so I’m trying this. I’m keeping good track of my sugar levels so I’m not worried about over doing it. If my sugar is too low I’ll eat a little something then walk. It’s simple and I need to stop making excuses. The only one I’ll have is if it rains, but then really it will be the dog that loses out as I will try to just hop on the treadmill.

Of course it is suppose to rain the next few days, so we will see how well this plan actually works.
