Remembering Travel

I traveled a lot in my youth, okay I moved a lot in my youth, but I got to see many places and do a lot of stuff when I moved. On memorable move was when I moved to and from Colorado. I was young but I remember visiting and spending time in places like Kansas and Missouri, I loved Missouri as a child as it brought back memories of St. Louis and the Arch, food fun and a lot of nothing. We drove through the state and though there were times where I wondered where the next stop would be, most of the time there was plenty to see and do.

One day I would love to go back there, maybe to Branson and stay at Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing or even check out another local place the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. There is a chance I may get to that one soon as I believe a company I work with is considering having a convention there. I know there will be plenty to do just right around the hotel, with shopping and food. I also would drive to this convention and of course I will try to follow as much of my past trip as possible.

Traveling is a great way to see our country. I have yet to get past Colorado, but one day I will. I have seen so much already and I do want to see more. traveling with a partner, spouse or your children is a great way to experience what is around us.

I’m the same way. The farthest west I’ve been is Michigan. I’ll be going to Kansas for my daughter’s wedding this summer. I hope to make it to the west coast one day!

    Wow Michigan is west… lol

Kansas is actually a pretty cool state. Though I have really only driven in it.
