Everything and Anything

I have to say I am sick and tired of hearing Republicans downgrade the idea of government run health care? Do they talk to people from other countries or just dream up the bull crap they are putting out there. One recent comment I read involved people losing their health insurance. How would that work if there was a complete government provided health care system, not what they want to do now, but a system where we all put in to pay for everyone to have insurance. That means no co-pays, everyone will have insurance and no more waiting months to get into doctors or to save up for a simple check up.

It’s a sad state of affairs when someone with a chronic illness is being harassed by bill collectors and skipping on medications because they don’t have insurance or the insurance they have sucks. Not everyone can work for GM and get good insurance, oh wait they get crap now too. The only solution to our health care problem is a government insurance program that covers everyone. Yes I know the insurance companies don’t like that idea, but frankly that can bite me. I’m tired of being treated as second rate. In many other countries they get the care they need, why do you think so many other countries are healthier then Americans, it’s not just the food here people!

Really would it be that bad to pay a few dollars more in taxes to get good insurance that covers everything? Oh, and you get back most of what your paying out anyway as the insurance thieves won’t get their greedy hands on it anymore. Do people even know how much money insurance companies pocket each year? If you thought bankers were bad take a long hard look at the insurance companies.

Yes I have gone on yet another rant. Life sucks for everyone right now, why are we living in the 20th century still? Everyone deserves to have good affordable health care, not just the rich, not auto workers, not just some mom who got pregnant at 15 and is on state help, but everyone.
