Happy 4th Of July
Today is a day to spend with family and friends, it’s a day to remember why the USA is a great country and why we have what we have today. It’s a day to remember why we have the freedom we have and to of course eat a ton of great grilled food. Most of all today is a day that we celebrate 233 years of freedom from powers that wished to control us. Powers that didn’t want us to be heard and powers that became greedy. It’s also a time to remember our own voice and speak up so it will be heard.
I spent today with my family, at home. We had a small barbecue and did fireworks. We ate really good s’mores with dark chocolate Reeses peanut butter cups replacing the plain chocolate. Over all it was a fun day. I have many cute pictures of my nieces and nephew and of course of the s’more, doesn’t it look really good?
