I have been thinking more and more about what I would do if I had a problem in my home. Like, how would I fix water damage if I didn’t have insurance, which currently I do not have renters insurance. It is on my list of things to get when I have money. I’m hoping I don’t have to worry about water damage, though I do live by a lake, so there is a possibility, but only if we get crazy amounts of rain.

I do know a friend of mine who had a problem and she ended up checking out http://www.thesteamteam.com/ and getting some help because her home was slow flooded that she couldn’t even attempt to clean it herself.

I think that’s one reason I love renting, really I don’t have to worry about a lot of things. Just making sure I have insurance on my things and keeping my apartment clean so I don’t have to forfeit my deposit when I move.
