I think this is interesting. I’m a plus size gal and I find it very hard to get necklaces that fit me. Usually they are too small and look more like a choker then a necklace. I have these beautiful gold chains that I can’t wear because they don’t fit. The strange part about this. I got the necklaces at a plus size store.

I don’t get where jewelry manufactures think that everyones neck is the same size. Mine has always been bigger. I’m told when I lose weight it will shrink but I don’t think it’s going to get a lot smaller. Yes I did buy extenders for my necklaces, but being I bought them in a plus size only store, I shouldn’t have to buy extenders.

What do you think?

I do alot of shopping after Christmas because of all the sales. I love getting a bargain on things that I want. Yes I shop for myself, I spent most of December shopping for other people it is my turn. My birthday is also in January and unless I buy something for me I usually don’t get anything. People tend to forget because it’s so close to the holidays.

This year I think I will be getting my birthday gift online. Yes I will still be going to the stores, you can’t pass up the get it now deals they have, but I want something from a store that is not in my area. That and I can get eLuxury coupons for online shopping. I can also use a one of the cash back shopping sites I use or I can find some great deals at other stores using GoGoShopper.com.

I have selection when I shop online, I don’t when I go to the store. This year is even worse because my car is still getting fixed. Thats what happens when you have no money. Yes I have the money now! Anyway my only selection will be walmart and rite aid. Since those are the only stores in the town I live in that will have good sales. Oh and fashion bug, gotta love them.

So you can see why I love online shopping so much, I have access to online coupons and stores that I love, but can’t get to. Online shopping was the best idea anyone could come up with. especially for small town people who love big city style, like me!

I have all of my Christmas shopping done! I even have everything wrapped and ready to go. I love gift bags! I was a little disappointed. I had ordered this really cute teddy bear for my new niece and it wasn’t in stock so I didn’t get it. Of course I didn’t find out until the box arrived so I got to run out the other night and find something for her.

I did find something, a really cute outfit that says princess on it. It’s warm and soft so it should be okay. Yes I know she’s only one month and won’t know, but I will and I had to get her something.

I also ordered some candles that didn’t come either so I had to run out and find a candle yesterday. Unfortunately I could only go to Walmart so it’s a pretty plain candle, but it will work.

I’m just so happy that I don’t have to go anywhere tomorrow!

Once again we went Christmas shopping, this time the day went much better and we got alot more done. It was also was not as busy as yesterday and people were alot nicer, my faith in humanity has been restored!

There were a few interesting points to our day. Mostly people playing with my nephew because he’s so cute, but there was a man who thought my nephew was my baby and he kept telling me I needed to plan for the future. He handed me a thing about getting life insurance quotes and kept going on about planing for college and all that. Once he took a breath I was able to tell him the baby was not mine, but I would give my sister the information.

Anyway we were able to get some great Christmas gifts and came up with a few more that we can get later. Hopefully we can do that soon so were not out Christmas eve trying to get things done. We will have to wait and see!

This is the time of year that I hate Christmas shopping, my sister and I went out today to find just a few things. She hasn’t done any shopping yet, but she wasn’t looking for something in particular. We found a few things and she got a really good deal on an artificial tree. So they day did get some things accomplished.

Why do I hate Christmas shopping right now? Well it’s because people are very rude. My sister just had a baby and she has a one year old and a 7 year old. The 7 year old was in school so we just had the two little ones. At this particular store I had the baby, she had the one year old. I got cut off constantly. I had 3 women run into the cart because they were idiots and not watching what they were doing. One was too busy looking at raymond weil watches to even notice where she was going. The baby was in plan site and you could tell it was a newborn. Why are people so stupid?

Thats not the worst part, my sister was told by store associate that if she didn’t get her baby to shut up, she would have to leave the store. I worked in retail and I told off the associate and spoke with the manager. I have a feeling the girl was fired. That might have to do with the fact that I said I use to mystery shop and knew who to call if something was not done about the workers attitude.

Has anyone else run into cranky people? I hate to say it, but around here, it’s the people who have money that are the worst, they seem to think they can walk all over everyone. Of course there are a few exceptions both ways, but what happened to common courtesy?

santa clauseThis is something I have been looking into for my nieces and nephew this year. I think though that I will have to wait until next year or the year after to actually do it as I just found out my niece has heard that Santa doesn’t exist.

I still think it’s a great idea and sending out Letters From Santa to the children you know should put a huge smile on there face. The website Lettersfromsanta.com has a great selection of letters for you to choose from and there all personalized. So you don’t have to worry about both of your children getting the same letter. You can list what the child has done over the past year so that they really feel like it is Santa writing to them.

christmas gift boxAs I said I’m hoping that maybe next year I can do it for the kids, this year my niece is still dealing with the Santa thing and I’m worried she will say something like “Why did I get this he’s not real.” and ruin it. Just because thats the type of kid she is. On the other hand I might have to send one anyway, it may make her feel better, she’s only 7 she can still believe in Santa.

So my mother has finally realized that I get some great deals online. She now has been asking me to find her some good coupon codes so that she can use them to do cash back shopping on a site I am on. Of course I’m giving her the money she will get back, but it goes toward me reaching a nice goal I want to reach on that site.

MP3 playerOf course since it’s for cash back shopping I told her to pick from the stores on the list and let me know. So far she has decided on a Kohl’s coupon so that she can buy a new sweater for my sister, and apparently something for me, because she wouldn’t tell me what else. She also decided on a an Overstock coupon code so that she can buy my little brother this MP3 player she found for him. I tried to convince her that I needed it more, but she told me to get my own. I think I’m going to be using a code from there sometime soon too.
