I have decided that I should look into getting some great fitness dvd’s just in case it’s raining or snowing and I can’t get out for a walk. I did do belly dancing for a while and I love it, but I need something that I can mix up and change every once in a while. I have been looking at this XFLOWSION DVD set that really looks like something I would use, it is a set of 4 DVD workouts, 2 guide books and 2 cd’s all for $60. Now if you don’t have $60 right now you can do 3 payments of 19.95. Not a bad deal.

What I love about this set is that is has different workouts. There are 4 dvd’s that give you something different on each one. One looks like it is a great cardio workout, another a yoga workout, I love that! The third one is concentrateing more on strength and the last works on your abs, that is my problem area and has been since I was a kid. I don’t have a lot of time to spend as I have to drive to school again this year and having the ability to work out one area or do relaxing yoga is a great thing for me. There are just days where I don’t really want to do anything and I think having the yoga option is great, while other days I’m energetic and ready to move and the body blast strength dvd may be more my thing.

If your not sure about it, you can rest a little easier knowing that these products were seen in In style and People. Really what do you have to lose, just weight right? I know I could stand to lose some of that and am willing to invest in something that not only will help me lose weight, but make me feel better and be healthier too.

I have to say I have been very happy with myself this week, I have gotten out and walked, I’ve lost 5lbs and I feel better, I knew I had to do something. I’m really happy my brother got a new dog, our other dog just can’t walk that far anymore, now I can go at least a mile a day and not worry about anything but making sure the dog has water, the new one will also drink from the ground if I have to put water there, our other dog won’t. She’s spoiled.

What I think has motivated me the most was last weeks episode of the Biggest Loser, they showed what your lungs look like when your overweight and my first thought was, this is what is causing my heart burn and making it so I can’t sing like I use to. I have a great voice and though I don’t sing professionally I still value it very much. This has helped me to get out there and move, that and walking the dog is much better then getting on the treadmill, I’m just worried about when the snow comes, sometimes they don’t plow us out for a while, I guess I’ll just have to go out and play in the snow with the dogs.

I have been trying for so long to lose weight, I am just so tired of trying. I’ve kinda given up for now as nothing seems to be working and I have other things I need to worry about too. I know a ton of my problem is stress over bills and things so I’m trying to make that better by spending more times on programs. The thing with my weight loss is I’m not looking for some miracle diet pill that works. I’m willing to do work and do this right, but it just doesn’t seem to come off.

I’m thinking I may have to talk to my doctor about it when I go to see him next month. I’m also going to talk to him about a few other things just to see whats going on. I should be okay, I just hope my new money making endeavors work. I’m trying out new things with affiliate marketing. I just hope I don’t lose money doing this as advertising is expensive.

I know many people that smoke. They have either done it since they were kids or they are kids and they got the habit from parents or friends. I was talking to someone the other day about how they want to quit smoking and I think it’s a great idea. Not only is it better for his health, but it will save him a huge amount of cash in the long run.

I decided he needed a little more of a push, so I averaged out the price he paid for cigarettes over the last 10 years, the amount of time he has been a smoker. If the price of a pack is $4 and you smoke a pack a day, he sometimes smoked 2, you would have wasted $13,440. Just on cigarettes alone in 10 years. My step father has been smoking since he was 15. He’s now going to be 50 so he has spent around $40,000 on cigarettes in his life time. I took 5 years off of that estimate as I don’t have the information on how much they cost when he was younger.

It’s hard to quit smokeing, but there are many products and tricks out there to help you quit the smoking habit for good. Don’t use the excuse that you will gain weight or be moody. You health should be your main concern, but right now with the cost of everything going up, don’t you want to be able to save that extra money your thowing away?

For just over a year I had been looking at MP3 players and I have to say I am very happy with the one I bought. I can get radio stations, do voice recordings and more.

The downside is that I bought the mp3 player hoping that it would help me to lose weight. I was getting bored walking on a treadmill staring at the wall. Unfortunately it has not helped much and I still don’t want to get on the treadmill. I think it’s more that I don’t think I have the time it takes to really make a difference as I have to walk more then run. I’m not in shape enough to run. It takes longer to walk a half mile then run one. I can jog a little but even then I have to keep stopping.

Maybe one I get my laptop and can watch a movie or something it will be better. Who knows!

I was talking to an old classmate of mine today and she told me about a great product she used to lose weight, it’s called Curvelle and she lost over 50lbs with it. I’m happy for her, but I always find myself wondering what the after effect of some of these pills are. I know some people who have used them and have had nothing happen to them, others though have gotten very sick.

I’ve thought about using them before in fact while cleaning today I found two hoodia bottles that I never opened. I don’t think I will be using them because of the diabetes and all that. I don’t need to make myself even more sick.

As many of you know I’m working hard to lose weight, this week I have noticed old habits coming back into play. I have been having a severe case of the Munchys that I haven’t had until now. I know much of it is because I’ve been very depressed and stressed. So yes it’s emotional eating.

I’ve been looking online for some help and I found a site, www.ShrinkYourself.com that seems to be a good fit. I don’t have money to pay for the program right now, but they have some good information in the free sections of their site. I am hoping this is just a shrink yourself logobad time and that I will soon get over it and move on, but any help I can get will make it go away faster. I really think I just need to get new friends in my area. people who will motivate me instead of putting me down and telling me I can’t do it. I think I’m dreaming when it comes to that, so maybe I’ll just have to get a second personality that tells me I can do it!
