I have heard about this before but I was not exactly sure how it worked, what I’m referring to is preserving stem cells that could help to prevent diseases such as Alzheimer and stroke. There are many services that offer help for this, one is called C’elle. They provide a great way for you to provide your stem cells from your menstrual cycle from the privacy of your own home and they provide instructions on how to use it.

These stem cells can help not only you, but can help family members who are genetically related to you. That means your kids, parents and other relitives. You can check out the pricing and gifting options. It is not cheep but may be worth the price later on. It something I know I may think of doing soon as we really don’t know what runes in our family yet and if I can help my mom and siblings I will. If your interested you can order now and get $200 off your order.

Everyone keeps telling me that since I’m now diabetic I can’t eat anything, the truth is I eat more now then I use to and I’m losing weight! I eat better food, but for me it wasn’t a huge change.

I have found though that since I do have to look at what I’m eating that food doesn’t have the same effect on me. I still love it and I have splurge days. I find though that instead of over eating because I’m depressed or bored, I’m finding other things to do. Like write or clean. I’m even starting to get back into some things I loved like photography and crafts.

I still love food, but I just don’t need it as much, the other good thing about this diet is that I always feel full, I think it’s because I’m getting more fiber, which makes you feel full.

I know many people that smoke. They have either done it since they were kids or they are kids and they got the habit from parents or friends. I was talking to someone the other day about how they want to quit smoking and I think it’s a great idea. Not only is it better for his health, but it will save him a huge amount of cash in the long run.

I decided he needed a little more of a push, so I averaged out the price he paid for cigarettes over the last 10 years, the amount of time he has been a smoker. If the price of a pack is $4 and you smoke a pack a day, he sometimes smoked 2, you would have wasted $13,440. Just on cigarettes alone in 10 years. My step father has been smoking since he was 15. He’s now going to be 50 so he has spent around $40,000 on cigarettes in his life time. I took 5 years off of that estimate as I don’t have the information on how much they cost when he was younger.

It’s hard to quit smokeing, but there are many products and tricks out there to help you quit the smoking habit for good. Don’t use the excuse that you will gain weight or be moody. You health should be your main concern, but right now with the cost of everything going up, don’t you want to be able to save that extra money your thowing away?

It’s said that people who read a lot may avoid having memory loss as they get older. So I have decided that I really need to get back into reading. I use to read all of the time. I would read books over and over, now though I find that I want to read new things so I think it’s time to place a large order of Amazon books since I have read almost everything I want to read in our local library, its not very big.

Reading though I think is good for everyone to get into I know many people don’t like it because they can’t read well, but like anything else practice makes it easier. Reading even comic books or magazines are a great way to start. You don’t have to read a huge book to get the benefits of reading. I figure even a daily reading of the newspaper should be enough to help hold off memory loss. I figure what is picking up a book going to hurt?

I was reading today about how diabetics are at a higher risk of a heart attack then most other people. Pretty much we are at the same risk of having a heart attack as someone who has already had one. The reason being is that we usually have huge blood pressure issues that don’t get checked or we ignore. Now I have always watched my blood pressure and tried to make sure it stayed down. That was until I became diabetic and didn’t know I was. Now I work hard to keep it down.

One way I do this is by trying to stay as relaxed as possible. This can sometimes be a hard task for many people and you may want to check into a product like AbsoluteCalm a natural safe remedy for stress. The best part about this product is that it also comes with a 30 day empty bottle money back grantee. How many companies do that? Most will only accept it if there is something left in the bottle or only give you 10 days. I usually don’t try things because they just don’t give you enough time to really try it out.

Right now I use yoga, deep breathing and exercise to control my stress and blood pressure. Hopefully I can keep it under control and avoid any unwanted complications.

I ran into an old roommate of mine. She was a lot of fun a few years ago when I lived with her and she still is today. Back then she was going to school to be a masseuse but dropped out, now she is going to be a medical assistant. She says she likes the idea much better and it pays more but she also said it took her forever to find a good medical assistant school. Everyone kept referring her to Baker, but she didn’t want to go back there. Personally I don’t blame her after the problems I had. I have seen an online program from St. Augustine that looks like a great program for this type of work. The best part is you can do it all online and quickly. I know for many students the faster you can get done the better.  Another great thing about them is that they will help you set up payments that work well for you.

I don’t think I could be a medical assistant, but I have huge respect for anyone who is. I can stand blood, but I feel what people feel when they are hurt and I also feel horrible for them on top of it. I would probably get use to it, but I don’t think I want to find out. My old roommate though, she is the type to do this kind of work, she doesn’t mind blood or any of that and she’s a really nice person. I wish she had been around longer then 2 months, I may have enjoyed the dorms more.

I love drinking tea, my favorate kind of tea right now is white tea. It’s not a very commen type of tea but I love the taste of it and the health benifites. Right now I’m into more organic type teas and I love the selection avalable at Organic Inda, they have teas like raspberry peach and red mango. They also carry herbal supplements such as tulsi holy basil that is suppose to help with stress and relaxation.

I also love their selection of gifts as I always try to find things to buy for people that are organic since many people around me have never tried some of these things. Organic India also offers free shipping for orders over $100. Another reasion to look for gifts. Tea I think is a great way to relax after a long day at work or school in my case. It’s also a great way to add more liquid to your diet and is really good on a cold day, if you like warm tea.
