I have a huge desision to make right now. Should I continue going to school for at least another year or quit before I waste more money and end up in the hospital again. The teacher I have this term for one of my classes has been the worst teacher I have ever had, worse then the one I had in high school who lost all of my assignments and failed me for it. She can not keep anything straight, she is constantly telling me something is done wrong, I fix it and she tells me it’s wrong again it needs to be done the way I did it the first time. I have never received a zero for an assignment I have done and turned in until this teacher. It seems she thinks that everyone who is not black is stupid or something. It’s a cultural diversity class that is really pointless as the book just blames all of the worlds problems on white people. It’s annoying to read and pretty much makes me feel that the world would be better if I just shot myself and all other white people. (I’m not going to, don’t worry)

Thats not the only problem, and I blogged about this next one already, but she put up links to other sites with questions related to the site that we had to write a paper on. When I used the site as a reference she gave me a zero and told me I could only use the book.

I don’t know about you but I think she’s just out to fail anyone she can. Usually I have just dealt with confusing teachers and moved on, but she is really a bad teacher. I’m trying to drop the class so at least it won’t effect my GPA, but I really am not sure i want to attend this school anymore, Baker really does not care about their students. I know other collages are like this, but they are still helpful because the know you’ll go somewhere else if they are not. Baker doesn’t transfer well to any school so they know your stuck. I’m still deciding what to do, as I have to have a bachelors degree to get a job in the interior design field, but I just am worried that all of these issues with these online teachers is going to send me back to the hospital. The only good thing is that if I can drop this class I would take it again next term along with another online class and be done with online classes.

Theres other issues too, like trying to get an independent study (part of why I’m really worried about my gpa) If I don’t get it I have to go another year.

I was hoping to get some good news this week in the form of a grant to get a new wig that will actually look like my real hair. Unfortunately the grant money is gone. Probably to a bunch of cancer patents who only needed it for a year or two. Yes I’m a little bitter, Yes they need it too, but when you are looking at people who can walk around bald because they don’t scarring and a blistery rash on their head, you do tend to get annoyed when they get all the help.

I have scarring alopecia. If you want to see pictures click here to check it out, it’s not of me, but you get the point. The first picture is closer to what I have, but mine is all over my head. Pretty much if I walked around I would be teased and pointed at relentlessly. I have had this condition since I was very young, it only started scarring when I was 12. I have lived most of my life with this and I was hoping to be able to get the chance to wear my hair up. Something I have not been able to do for over 10 years. Unfortunately I still won’t get the chance as these wigs or full cranial prosthesis, cost at least $300 plus supplies needed to attach it. Some insurance will cover them, but mine of course will not and it doesn’t look like I can find a plan that will unless I pay $300 a month, the point in that is?

So yes I’m a little bitter as I have to live with my hair loss for the rest of my life, unlike cancer where you either go into remission, die (hopefully not) or it goes away my hair will never grow back. There is no cure. I know I’m going to get people yelling at me because I’m mad at people with cancer, I’m not really mad at them, just the fact they get so much help when it comes to hair loss. While me who has to live with it gets nothing.

Maybe one day I’ll have an extra $300-500 to get one. Then I get to try to save up for when it starts to come apart. I really don’t know how long they are suppose to last. Oh well. I guess I just wear the falling apart cheep wigs I have now, not that i have a choice, I wish I had the choice to walk around with a bald head, I’d do it in a heartbeat if it meant I didn’t have to spend more money on a wig.

Have you ever had anyone call your phone and you have no idea who it is. Telemarketers are great for this as are bill collectors. I love when they call and they can’t give you any information about what they are calling for unless you are the person they have to talk to. I understand laws are part of this problem but at least saying where they are from is helpful as my family will not call anyone back unless they know who it is calling.

This is where a search by phone number website comes in handy I have found out a few things this way. One who is calling and if they are a bill collector or just a telemarketer. I have also been able to figure out what they may want. See because I’m home all day I get the majority of these calls. In fact I spend one month arguing with a guy because he always called a 2pm and insisted I give him my mothers work number. I told him no, because she could get fired. Eventually I did a look up and found the direct number for the company he worked for called them and informed them that he was harassing me. The calls stopped and I got some peace.

It seems that every term I take an online class I have a huge issue with a teacher. I don’t know if Baker’s teachers or Baker is being paid by people to use only their products and books, but this is getting to be crazy. This time I had to write an assignment on Native American Women. The teacher gave us a link to information on a website so I used that in my paper, makes sense right? Nope, not to them! Apparently the link was there just to waste my hour and half reading. Now they say we are only allowed to use information from the book in our reports and nothing else. I got a zero on the assignment. Lets just say I’m taking it up with the school as I am not happy about this and baker needs to get the stick out of their butts. By the way if your looking at the Baker located in Michigan, don’t waist your time or money.

Here is my question, would you have assumed you needed to use the information in the link for the paper? or would you have assumed you could only use the book?

I am writing my frist post from my new laptop and wow does this take some getting use to. I’m sure I’ll be okay eventually, but getting use to using the keyboard is going to be fun. I like this one though and tomorrow I will be doing a review on it on savey spender. So check there if you want to know more about it. I will tell you it’s an hp and has a web cam with mic. so I may start doing a few video post soon as long as you all can stand looking at my mug.

So far I have watched a dvd on it while I was waiting for things to download, but it was differently worth the money I paid for it. I’d write more about it here but it’s been a long day and I’m tired.

My forum is finally having it’s grand opening. I’m excited about it because I have worked very hard on this forum. It’s a paid to Post forum called Cash and chat and today only there will be some cool prizes being handed out. We also have a few longer running contest too.

I love forums because they have a feeling of community, a blog can have that too, but sometimes it takes a long time to get there. Forums on the other hand can have that right away and do very well. If your interested check out Cash and Chat and let me know what you think.

I’m lucky right now, no one would want to steal my credit info, it’s not useful. I have so much debt and no job so my credit is save for now, but that doesn’t mean that my Identity is save. Not everyone is after your money, some people just don’t want others knowing who they are or what they are doing. Other people may commit a crime and want it to be traced to someone else, that someone else could end up being you.

That is why you need a service like lifelock or another company that will educate you on what you need to do if your identity is stolen. Its not a fun thing at all trust me. I know someone who went though it. They had to get a new social security number, id and everything. They now have no credit history except for one credit card that allowed them to transfer everything over. they were helpful, but many companies are not. I have learned a ton from this persons problems. One is watch what you tell people online, watch what information you give out and don’t trust anyone, even someone trying to hire you for a job. That is how the person I know got her identity stolen.
