I have to say I am not very impressed with the Olympic committee right now. It seems they are too far up China’s you know what. Even to me, who has a 14 year old brother He looks about 7 so I believe she could pass for 14 as Asians do seem to look younger to us Americans, but she is not 16. There is no way. I haven’t even watched the Olympics and I know that just by looking at pictures they have put up of this girl.

Now the Olympic committee instead of doing what they promised are ignoring the problem and letting China get away with whatever they want. This is the big reason I was never into sport in high school. The kids that worked hard got nothing while the ones that cheated got all the fame and praise. This is a great way to get kids not to cheat and use drugs in sport isn’t it, Oh wait it tells them to. Thanks a lot guys.

If they had at least pretended they were doing something and let it take a while it would be believable and maybe some of this issue would die down and go away, but unfortunately this years Olympics will probably be remembered as the scam Olympics and there is nothing anyone can do about it now. Sometimes I wonder who is exchanging money where and how much it is.

I was not a tennis fan until a few years ago. That was when I met a friend of mine who loved tennis. Her dad played professionally for a while and she played as a kid. We use to watch matches together as I really had no choice when they were on. She would get sucked in and didn’t return until they were done. I always wondered why she didn’t try to go pro.

One of her favorite events and one of mine now too is Wimbledon. I’m sure many of you know about it from the movie, but it really is a very important event in the world of tennis. This year the Championship starts ticketson June 30th and runs until the second Sunday in July. It is a long event and if I had to money to stay in England that long I would love to go see it, at least once. Of course I would just love to go got England too, but maybe I can time it right if I ever get to go.

If you do get over there Wimbledon tennis tickets are hard to find from what I hear so make sure you check it out before you go if that is what you are hoping to see. If you don’t have tickets you can still get a chance to be there by lining up and waiting, but you will have to be there the night before so bring a sleeping bag and a tent.

There is a chance that todays Sprint Cup race may be rained out, but as I was going through the NASCAR website I saw the ad for the NASCAR foundation. This is a great cause that anyone can help out with. Even if your not a NASCAR fan, but you know one you should check this out.

It’s very simple to participate, you buy a pin for $5 that money then goes to the NASCAR foundation, no it does not go to train drivers or pay for races, the money raised goes to helping different charities that NASCAR families have started, many help with chronic illness, education and wildlife conservation, If your still not sure about it, check out this link: supported charities to find out more about each charity and what they do.

I am buying a pin as soon as I’m done writing this. I did this a few years ago also and it’s really a great idea. Unfortunately I didn’t have anywhere to wear the pin on NASCAR Day, but this year I should have somewhere to wear it and anything else I buy before then. This year NASCAR Day is on Friday May 16th so there is still some time to get shopping and your donations in.

Of course I will be posting about this a few more times, so you won’t forget, it really is a great cause and helps thousands of children, families and environments in our country.
