Vacations, Prizes and More

I love going on vacation. We use to go a lot when I was little, my dad would take us on mini history and sports outings every summer. One year we had a family reunion and we went to a civil war battle field where my sister and I learned that corn looked a lot like wheat. (the sign said this cornfield, but the farmer that year planted wheat)

We also went to baseball games and visited other historic things as those where my dad’s hobbies. One place I never got to go that I would still love to go is the Kennedy Space Center, but that wasn’t a dad thing, so I have to get there myself.

Another place we never got to go to was Boston. I’m sure we could have found many things to do in Boston but it never happend. Again my dad loved the civil war, not the American Revolution, but I want to know more about that so one day I will get to Boston and learn something. I want to visit some of the historic sites and actually see them for myself. It’s a different experience when you do that. It seems more real when you see the location.

If your interested in a vacation to Boston or looking for things to do in Chicago I really recommend you use Trusted tours as they have a great selection of things to do in most cities and online travel guides for you to look at. You also win $150 in free Itunes if you sign up for their newsletter. That way you don’t forget where you signed up for what at.

Local trips can be a great way to do the family vacation this summer, check out deals and see what you have close to you.

Just A Simple Game Of Tennis

I was not a tennis fan until a few years ago. That was when I met a friend of mine who loved tennis. Her dad played professionally for a while and she played as a kid. We use to watch matches together as I really had no choice when they were on. She would get sucked in and didn’t return until they were done. I always wondered why she didn’t try to go pro.

One of her favorite events and one of mine now too is Wimbledon. I’m sure many of you know about it from the movie, but it really is a very important event in the world of tennis. This year the Championship starts ticketson June 30th and runs until the second Sunday in July. It is a long event and if I had to money to stay in England that long I would love to go see it, at least once. Of course I would just love to go got England too, but maybe I can time it right if I ever get to go.

If you do get over there Wimbledon tennis tickets are hard to find from what I hear so make sure you check it out before you go if that is what you are hoping to see. If you don’t have tickets you can still get a chance to be there by lining up and waiting, but you will have to be there the night before so bring a sleeping bag and a tent.

Take a well deserved vacation

I wish I could take a vacation, somewhere warm and nice where I could forget about my problems. Well in my case doing that could make them worse but if you have the extra money to spend you should check out Sea Side reservations. They have some wonderful hotels and rental homes available. Puerto Penasco lodging is affordable and very luxurious. They also have a great travel tips section for traveling to Mexico. Remember laws have changed now so you should always be up to date with the latest travel information.

Puerto Penasco has a lot to offer any traveler, aquariums, shopping and dinning are just a few of the activities you can do there. The travel site list many more if those do not interest you. They also have a calender of events that you can use to help plan your trip. So take that well deserved vacation, and please have a drink for poor me while your there.

Going to the Rodeo, maybe?

I have been to a few rodeos in my life. I love going to them as they are always full of excitement and fun things to do. I have also met people there that are the strangest, but most interesting people ever. One rodeo I have not been able to get to yet is the NFR or National Finals Rodeo. This is the event to be at and I have heard people talk about how much fun it is to go to. I hear stories about how exciting it was to see this person win or that person win. I was offered National Finals Rodeo tickets once, but I turned them down as I couldn’t afford to get their.

Here’s the kicker, it’s in Las Vegas. Yes the same city I have been saying I want to go to for the last few months. It’s a ten day event that would take up a lot of my Vegas time, but it would be worth it if I can get out there. I have always had a huge fascination with cowboys and horses, I’m not sure why but I do. I’ve also always wanted a ranch and to have a son that would compete in Rodeos. I know wishful thinking considering I still even after living on a ranch for 6 months don’t know a thing about raising horses, my cousin does though so I think I could get her to help out.

Running away and never looking back

Sometimes I think I want to just run away and never look back. Today I was talking to my mom about some of the issues our family has been having and it just is so much to deal with I just kept thinking I need a flights to Toronto just so I can get out of here.

I’ve felt like this before, when my fathers side of the family was having some issues. I ended up taking off planeto Texas and staying there for 6 months, it was the best and the worst 6 months of my life. A few thing I would like to have changed, but going there is not one of them. Sometimes just getting away from other people’s problems and some of your own can really help you figure things out. It was when I was in Texas that I figured out I wanted to be an interior designer. Before that I had no idea what I wanted to be.

Now I have some other things I need to figure out, this time I can’t leave for 6 months, but maybe a few days would do me some good. On the other hand if I move I can just lock myself up in my house and not talk to anyone for a few days. That would be nice. A vacation would still be better.

Car rentals and money

So I’m thinking the other day that if I’m going to fly to Florida I will need a car rental. This is still all very hypothetical but I’m hoping to be able to go. I just want to have some sort of idea as to how much this trip will cost me now to see if I can do it and I know it’s very expensive to rent a car but at the same time it sometimes is not too bad if you can get a good deal.

Right now I’m looking at advantage.com since they have a few good deals that could help me out. Of course what they have now could change by the end of summer when I want to go, but who knows maybe they won’t. Right now I’m looking at the 19.99 and up deal the closer I can get to the 19.99 the better though. I don’t need a huge car. I just need one for me to drive around for a few days. I guess I’ll just have to plan on that and wait and see.

It’s been a while since I have been to visit one of my favorite cities, Chicago. I use to go there a lot with my father before he passed away. I love going there because you can find so many things to do Chicago. I don’t live far and I know the area well so I already know what I want to see and where it is. I of course would have to go to a cubs game as that is something we always did. Something new I’m adding to my list when I go next year. Is the Neocon convention, it’s a closed design and architecture industry event and I could go this year as I’m a student, but I don’t have the money to. It’s sad, but I can’t do both the NASCAR race and that, they are a week apart and I already bought the race tickets.

Anyway if your looking to check out Chicago or are maybe looking for Things to do in Las Vegas or Dallas you should check out a sightseeing tours with trusted tours, right now they are doing a great GPS system giveaway when you sign up for their newsletter. I have already done this, so I cant but you can! If you decide on a trip to Vegas let me know if you liked it I still want to get out there and am thinking of using trusted tours for some of it.
