Everything and Anything

I finally found a cool product to write about on my design blog, complete with picture. I wrote out the information for it uploaded the picture aligned it and published the post. When I went to view it the post looked like crap! The image was above everything and I can’t change it. Now I have it sitting under what I have written instead of to the right of it as I wanted it.

So far everyone has told me, check your style sheet and make sure images are not aligned to the left. Well my style sheet says nothing about images so not helpful, that and I checked my other 3 blogs that have been updated and have had the same issue. So no it’s not my style sheet.

I love using images on that blog as it helps people see what I’m talking about, now my blog looks like crap and there is nothing I can do about it until wordpress gets off their butts and fixes this. Luckily I have not updated this blog so I don’t have to worry about it here, I’ve thought about moving back down on my design blog, but I don’t want to mess it up. It just sucks!

I’m sitting here, playing around on Swat Cash because I have nothing better to do. I don’t have homework to do right now as I decided today would be a break day. It’s nice not to worry about it. Tomorrow though I have to get it done as I have my cousins wedding to go to on Saturday. This should be interesting as we have to drive 2 hours south to get my little sisters and then 2 hours west after that, normally it would only take us 3 hours to get there, but my mom doesn’t want my sisters driving late at night. There 20 and almost 19. There not babys. Oh well it will be a long day, but should still be fun.

Halloween is probably my most favorite holiday, why because I have this weird dark streak and it’s fun to dress up in crazy clothes and scare people. Okay usually I confuse people as they can’t figure out who I really am! That’s always fun trust me. I love looking at Halloween costumes and I usually start early as I’m a big girl and the good ones go quick.

Where do I look for costumes now, 3 months before Halloween, well online where you can find anything, duh! I found a cool site, costumecauldron.com that has a very nice selection of costumes. In fact I am in love with their plus size selection as they are not all the I’m going to cover you up because your fat and ugly type costumes. I really like the one I have pictured as it’s so me and I could pull it off very well even with the weight. I know it’s not scary, but that’s okay, I’d still make it so no one would know it was me! They also have a cool selection of kids costumes. I like the Neverland Fairy one the best. My neice would love it!

I also am really hoping that I have moved by Halloween so that I can decorate, guess what they sell those too! I love it. I want to go crazy if I have my own house this year, one because I hope to live across the street from a friend of mine who’s kids will love an overdone Halloween house! They also have decorations for other holidays so I may get some Christmas stuff too!

I finnaly got my forum back up and running after it crashed and now I only have one member again. I know a few will be back soon, but it just kinda makes you sad. I worked hard on everything and it was going okay, now I’m just waiting to see what happens.

I know I’m not going to get rich from Cash and Chat, but I just love the idea of getting to know people and helping them make some cash. At least it’s back up and running right? Anyway I’m trying to figure out ways to get more people involved. I hope to get a ref link for my members soon, but it may be a while before I can do that.

Anyway if anyone has any ideas I’d love to hear them.

I know many people that smoke. They have either done it since they were kids or they are kids and they got the habit from parents or friends. I was talking to someone the other day about how they want to quit smoking and I think it’s a great idea. Not only is it better for his health, but it will save him a huge amount of cash in the long run.

I decided he needed a little more of a push, so I averaged out the price he paid for cigarettes over the last 10 years, the amount of time he has been a smoker. If the price of a pack is $4 and you smoke a pack a day, he sometimes smoked 2, you would have wasted $13,440. Just on cigarettes alone in 10 years. My step father has been smoking since he was 15. He’s now going to be 50 so he has spent around $40,000 on cigarettes in his life time. I took 5 years off of that estimate as I don’t have the information on how much they cost when he was younger.

It’s hard to quit smokeing, but there are many products and tricks out there to help you quit the smoking habit for good. Don’t use the excuse that you will gain weight or be moody. You health should be your main concern, but right now with the cost of everything going up, don’t you want to be able to save that extra money your thowing away?

I have a cat and I love her to death, but she can make the upper floor of the house smell as that is where her litter box is. Since it’s in the hallway it’s even worse as the hall has no windows to it. I usually just spray something if I know I have just cleaned the box and it doesn’t need it again, but that gets old fast.

Now the other day I got a great sample for TriScents. I decided I would see how well it worked in the hallway to cover up the litter box smell. Well I have to say it worked great. At first it was a very strong smell, but after I turned it down to the low setting it wasn’t so bad. The hallway is a small area, so I’m sure that had something to do with it. I love how the scent changes, I have it plugged in right outside of my bedroom door and I can smell a new scent every once in a while. The scent combination I got was morning meadow and I like it, but I’m hoping they come out with some fruit scents and holiday ones too. Apparently the collage was closed last week, so I have not gotten my student loan refund so I can’t get my laptop. I’m spending a lot of time hoping that my computer will not crash in the meantime. I really hope that they won’t decide that I have to wait until August to get everything like they did last year. I just don’t know if my poor computer will be able to take it.

With my luck I figure they will. It also means I can’t pay off my cell phone and will probably not be able to buy a house until after Christmas. It sucks and I’m tired of it all. I just want something to go right for once. It seems though that it’s always going wrong.
