Find a Foreclosure for Free

 - by Holly

I have talked to my friends a lot about foreclosures and how they can be a great deal. The problem is that it’s hard sometimes to find a foreclosure if you live in a large city and don’t have time to drive around. Another problem is that many websites want you to pay to find a foreclosure, but you can find Real Estate Owned Foreclosures for free at freeforeclosureblog.com

The website is actually really simple to use and I love that you can search by state, city and area. It’s easy to find what you are looking for without worrying about how much you’ve just paid to find things that are not working for you.

Of course the best part is that the site is free to use so you don’t have to worry about cost and you can see if a foreclosure is right for you and your budget or family. Here is a question for you. Would you ever buy a foreclosure?

Looking for an Eco Friendly Home In Houston

 - by Holly

I’m not really looking for Homes for sale in Houston, but after checking out Ashton Woods Homes I think I want to move! Not only are they very well designed in terms of looks but they are also designed to help you save money on your bills too.

Ashton Woods is the only builder with both Power House Green and Environments for Living™. Both programs focus on living well and comfortable in an environmentally friendly home. I personally love what I have seen and kinda wish I was moving to Texas again instead of going back to school here in Michigan. Maybe when I graduate I’ll move down there, just to live in one of these homes!

Disclosure: I received compensation for this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own unless otherwise stated.

Find The Jewelry Your Looking For

 - by Holly

I love anything that sparkles and jewelry is one of those items I can’t get enough of. Recently I checked out www.povada.com and I was amazed by what they had to offer. I actually stayed on the main page for about three minutes in a daze of shiny things and beautiful jewelry!

Eventually I was able to get myself to look around the site and it was even better then the main page, not only because there was such a huge selection of jewelry, but because price wise it was actually affordable! Okay, there are some expensive pieces, but there are also a lot of items that are under $100 and a good amount of those are under $50. The pendent I have shown is $53 and I think it’s a great deal for a pendent like that. I love the blue stone also because it pops and draws your attention to it.

Povada carries pendents, rings, necklaces and engagement rings. I took a short look at the engagement rings and some of those are actually priced really well. They have a few that are under $500 and for an engagement ring that is not too bad. They also had some really beautiful engagement rings that were priced well over $5,000 and one that was $130,000! I don’t think I’ll be buying those unless I find a very wealthy man to get it for me or I manage to make millions myself, but they are still very pretty to look at!

Wishing I Could Move to the UK

 - by Holly

I know your thinking I’m crazy and why would I want to leave the US? Really though I have always wanted to live in another country at least for a while. I love learning about different cultures and really the only way to learn a lot is to move there and emerge yourself in the culture.

I have been looking at some homes and I found a really great real estate company called Express Estate Agency and I love the properties they have listed. I found this one that I really love and would move into in a heartbeat if it wasn’t already sold and I had the money to afford it.

I love that this agency has a huge social presence too. You can follow Express Estate Agency on twitter and they advertise on sites like Ebay and Facebook. I also love that they give to charities, there 2010 charity is Childline / NSPCC

You can check out reviews of Express Estate Agency and see that there customers are really happy with the service they received and that makes me want to work with them even more. Here is what one client had to say:

An excellent service. Highly responsive and managed to sell my house after 3 years on and off the market. Genius ! I have recommended the firm to several people.

After taking a good look at this company I know I would use them if I could ever make my move to the UK. Would you?

Can’t Buy a Home Try a Land Contract

 - by Holly

This is a paid post, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

If you really want to buy a home, but you find that you cant get a mortgage maybe you should think about checking out a land contract. This is a really cool situation where you rent to own the property.

Finding a land contract home is very simple you can look it up online or you can use sites like The Land Contract.com where you can easily find a land contract you like and be on your way to a new home.

Now lets say you search Land contract New York you find a home you like, you get your investor and figure out a contract. You then rent the home from the investor until you can get your own mortgage, they you buy the home outright and your then a homeowner. The process is very simple and as long as you make sure the payments are what you can afford you should be good to go.

I have known a few people involved in land contracts. All but one of them now own the home, the other unfortunately did not watch their spending and lost the home. That is why research into what you can actually afford is a must. What do you think about land contracts?

Do You Know Where Your Food Comes From?

 - by Holly

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Wheat Food Council. All opinions are 100% mine.

Have you ever been in a wheat field? I have and actually it’s very interesting to see the plants up close. Of course then your told it’s hard work to get all this done and my uncle the farmer goes on and on for an hour or so about how all of this takes so much work.

Well I won’t do that to you, but I do want to tell you about a very cool program called How Wheat Works that will tell you all about wheat, going from the field to your plate it explains how wheat had been use throughout history and allows you to plant and grow wheat to make a food product out of it.

I choose to make pasta so I planted the durum wheat. I love pasta and that really is the only reason I choose this one, but there are 3 other types you can choose to plant. Right now I’m at the step where I have to wait 24 hours for the wheat to grow, so I can’t tell you what happens next but I may do a quick follow up in a few days.

I can tell you one thing right now, this is a great site for people with kids and teachers. It’s interactive, fun and the kids learn something. They also can have a feeling of accomplishment when they complete the cycle and make their own food. Another reason they can feel good about learning at this site is that for each participant that completes the process Wheat Foods Council will donate two pounds of flour, up to 90,000 pounds, to Operation Homefront. This is a non-profit that provides assistance to U.S. troops and their families that are in need of help.

Check it out, it’s free and actually pretty fun to use. I’ll be checking back tomorrow for sure I want to see how my wheat grew!

Check Out Bidazzled For Your Holiday Shopping

 - by Holly

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Bidazzled. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love finding a good deal and when you can find a good deal and help charities it’s even better. If you check out Bidazzled you can bid on some great items and help a charity for lung cancer called the Ruch Foundation. A foundation that is hoping to draw awareness to small cell lung cancer.

This is a very simple to use site and you will be very comfortable there if you are use to Penny or Pay Per Bid type Auctions. This is the system Bidazzled uses and I really love this type of system. You can usually get some good deals and the products are very nice too. They have an hp monitor, game systems and some DVD right now. Of course this will be different when you check it out as these may be over with by that time.

Another great thing about this site is that when you sign up you get 5 free bids. I’m going to use the rest of mine after I’m done writing this post as I still have a couple of items I want to bid on. Check out the site, what do you see that you would love to have or would want to buy for someone you know?

Use this code to get an extra 15 bids
