All I ask is that I have enough money for gas to get to school and food, right now that is apparently too much to ask. I have made $150 so far for next month, that might get me to school for 2 weeks including food while I’m getting there. Pretty much as of right now I get to starve at home. I may get lucky and make more, but at this point I’m not counting on it. Pretty much what I’m going to end up doing is buying really cheap junk food and hoping I don’t gain weight. We are talking chocolate bars and mac and cheese. Things that are high in carbs, but bad on calories. It sucks having to have a set number of carbs, I don’t have a choice to just eat less.

The bad part is we just had a new store open in our area, a clothing store that we really did not need. What I hate is that now instead of maybe getting a job I cant because they just brought people from other stores to this one and because they opened the other stores are not hiring. We already were bad here, Michigan’s unemployment rate is 8.9% Now keep in mind that people like me who are not collecting unemployment because we were not full time, were students or they have not worked at all because of the lack of jobs. It’s horrible and really I don’t think there is an end to this if we continue on this track where we worry more about other countries and not our own. I also think that this bailout needs to have something to do with the little people and I don’t think that these CEO’s of these companies should see any money this year, personally they drove their companies into the ground they need to know what it’s like to have no cash, cut their pay completely and then help them, I don’t think as a tax payer that I should pay for their 5 homes and 3 wife’s and 5 mistresses and 10 kids, their cars, their jets and their country club memberships. You know that is what will happen.

At this point I’m starting to think a depression may just be the thing we need to get rid of these idiots who have made the rest of us have to live beyond our means and now we are the once suffering. Maybe they need to be reminded or learn what it’s like to worry about having food for the next week or what it’s like to not have food for the next week.

Today I went shopping at a local clothing store and usually they have very good customer service, today it was not as great, unless you were over 50. A new clothing store opened just 2 stores down from this one and they were worried more about what their sales were then helping their customers, unless you were older and they saw you come out of the other store, yes they had someone watching. I had a coupon for this store or I may have gone to the other one after being ignored for 20 minutes waiting for a fitting room.

I have been a customer there since I was in high school and a few of them even know me by name, these women were not working, well one was, but she was the other store lookout so she was outside. I understand they are worried about this store with times being the way they are, but wouldn’t you worry more about the customers you have and not the ones they have?

Once again I have issues with UPS, when I was a teen we couldn’t have anything shipped ups because you had to have a PO box in my town, the post office didn’t register anything but the PO box as your address. It was not fun and my whole family hated it.

Now I have used them again and they can’t find an address yet again. So now a perishable food item that should have been delivered today will not get there until tomorrow and it will more then likely be a huge globby mess. The worst part is all you can do is call them, but they can’t do anything because the truck is back. Frankly I think someone needs to sue them for being stupid.

I’d love a refund, but the company I bought the item from is not really at fault. It’s UPS. So now I’m out $50 because they can’t figure out a map.

I got an email from a paid to blog site I have started using and I couldn’t believe what I read for this one opportunity. They were only paying $2 of which you get a percentage and wanted only PR 2 Blogs and above on their own domain. Seriously they are either going to get junk or no one, but these are the advertisers that think Page Rank actually means something. The ones that would rather see their pr increase instead of their traffic and sales. See everyone says Google has issues with paid links. But they don’t, they have an issues with do follow paid links. I know this, this blog is proof that they don’t like it. I was a pr 2. Now I’m a pr 0. I don’t care I keep going. I’m finding the PR requirements to be very annoying as PR does not show the worth of a blog. If it did big advertisers would pay much more attention to that then to what traffic a blog gets and how many readers they have.

Anyway here is my question if you had a pr 2 blog, did paid posting and paid to host your own blog would you do a 3 link 200 word opp for about a dollar. I know I wouldn’t.

Right now my whole income comes from the internet and mystery shopping. Most of it is from the internet as it just cost too much in gas to do the mystery shopping on a daily basis so I tend to hold out for the big jobs.

The other day someone told me that I don’t make enough from home and that I should find a real job. I told them that I have been looking for a real job, for over 2 years. I’m over qualified and all that fun stuff. They pretty much told me that I was lazy and stupid. This morning I decided to look back at what I made when I worked at Walmartshop for collageand compare it to what I make now. You want to know something interesting. I make more now then I did working at Walmart.shop for collageI don’t have to pay to eat out for lunch. I don’t have to pay for gas and I can work around my schedule. I figure since that might be the only type of job I could get right now I’m doing really well. Since I make more then I did why would I want to quit what I’m doing and go back to working for someone else?

I’m sure other people who work from home, but don’t make thousands a month get this too. I guess people just don’t get it. Maybe I’m just not a greedy as they are. Maybe I am and that’s why I’m not going to quit doing the online thing, the potential to make a lot of money is here, I just have to find what works for me.

There are some personal issues going on with my family right now. I can’t get into the details but I could end up in some trouble. I didn’t do anything so please don’t worry about that, but someone else did and it could effect not only me, but the rest of my family as well.

Sometimes I wonder if people think anymore. Does anyone realize that there are consequences for their actions? What I’m finding is that middle age men and 30-40 something women don’t seem to care about consequences. Now I’m not saying everyone is this way, but a good amount are. Many attribute that to a midlife crises, but I know most 20 something year olds who have been asked out, flirted with or contacted online by a 50+ year old will agree with me that it is sick and wrong. Many of the men who have contacted me are married. Do they even think about how that looks to people, or the person they are married to. Personally if my husband (if I had one) were unhappy enough to contact any women I would want to know so that we can either work it out or get on with our life’s. This isn’t just about men, I know some women who could care if a man is married, it’s what I want I will go after.

This doesn’t even have to involved dating or cheating. People can just be rude sometimes. Example the other day. A man bumped into me causing me to drop everything I had, then yelled at me for being in the way and flipped me off. The worst part, they were an employee, unfortunately they were on their way out the door, so there was not much the store would do about it. Lets just say I’m not going there again.

Has anyone else noticed this or think it’s a problem. I just keep thinking about how bad our socitiy has gotten with simple manors and morals.

Last night I was reading an article that someone had written about children at the new Batman movie. Now they were pretty upset that at a midnight showing there were 5-10 year old’s. I also find that a little crazy for this particular movie. Yes it’s a treat for some, but at the same time does the kid want to see the movie or did the parents make them come because they wanted to?

this person had no problems with the children that were a little older as they knew how to behave, but the young ones don’t and at a midnight showing in a cramped theater they are tired and don’t car about the movie, personally I think anyone under the age of 10 should not have been there, there is a pg13 rating on it for a reason. No that does not me as long as the parent buys the ticket a 3 year old can get it. It means that your child should have the mental capacity of at least a 13 year old to see the movie.

I agree that parents now a days need a reality check when it comes to what movie ratings mean. G- everything is okay anyone can watch it.

  • PG- probably not good for little kids but okay for the 5 and up crowd.
  • PG13- explained earlier, but I will say it again, your child should have the mental capacity of at least a 13 year old to see the movie. (usually they don’t until they are at least 12)
  • R-Restricted, in other words unless your child is 16 they should NOT see this movie.
  • XXX- If your letting your kid watch this you are a bad parent.

Now that you know the rateing system, I have a story for you. I do movie audits where I count how many people watch a movie for a weekend. I audited the Sex and the City movie for 2 weeks. I saw a total of 9 kids 10 and under go into the movie and at least 17-25 that had to be 10-15. If you didn’t see Sex and the City and live under a rock, let me tell you a secret, there is a ton of nudity and sex in this movie. Something children of that age should not be seeing! I’m sure the one man who came to see it with his 9 year old sons will be wondering in about 3-5 years why his sons got a girl pregnant.

Anyway back to the Batman movie. This poster was told off in a few comments that some people can not afford a babysitter and a movie, well if that’s the case don’t see the movie because apparently you don’t have the money to spend. Wait a week or two and save so you can afford both, I know in this country saving is an unheard of concept, but come on! You really need to watch what your kids are watching. Oh and of course there is also the issue of the other 300 or more people that stayed up to watch the midnight showing paid 8-12 or more dollars to see it only to have a 5 year old kick them in the back every three minutes or have a child go running down the aisle screaming because the parent doesn’t want to watch them. In other words, think of the other people. I have personally told theaters that people are not watching their children and they have been kicked out because of it. Guess what parents, they can do that and I think more theaters should. That said if you can not get a babysitter and you must see the movie in the theater go during the day, when people expect kids to be there or at least wait a few days to go see it later at night.

This is my opinion, what are your thoughts?
