Everything and Anything

I have always wanted to be a chef, though now I have decided that actually owning a restaurant is not for me currently I would still love to take culinary classes and learn tricks to make food even better then it is now. I also want to take a vacation and now I can combine the two and book a Italian Culinary Weekend at the Hilton in Branson Missouri. The weekend for this event is February 26-27th, so I guess I really can’t do it this time, but what I’m hoping is that they will do it again. It looks really interesting, the package includes:

* Deluxe king or double queen accommodations for Friday and Saturday night
* Friday evening reception
* Saturday evening five course dinner
* A goodie bag filled with items for the home chef

The package starts at $429 per night, but for 2 people that’s not bad, the only downside is that you must stay for 2 nights, still not a horrible deal when you look at everything you will be getting. Personally I really would like to know what is in that goodie bag. I’m sure they have some great things that you will get to take home and play with. Also, how great would it be to sit down to a 5 course dinner, Italian style I’m assuming, Yum!

So except for the race today, the day has pretty much sucked. I think me and this guy are done and I really just wish I was done with class and I could find a job somewhere and get as far away from here as I can. I’m tired of my life again. I’m tired of having no money and struggling to do anything. I love having my friends back in my life, but it’s just too expensive. I think I may have been better off before, when I was stuck at home with nothing to do.

I don’t know, I guess this is just the way life is. There is good, bad and just plain sucks.

I knew a few months ago that tomorrow would be a good valentines day for me and I have to send thanks to the people at NASCAR. Yes, the first race is tomorrow, on valentines day and I’m loving it! I have something to do and it’s fun. Of course this year I do have a guy to spend it with, we are not serious enough yet for me to push for anything on valentines day, but being able to spend it together will be a nice and very welcome change. It won’t be romantic by any means as there will be screaming children and drunks in the background, but that’s okay. I really don’t ask for much as I’m happy with what I can get.

Sometimes women just need a change to relax and unwind. Other times women really need to take a look at why they feel the way they do. Women’s health is something that has just recently started to be stressed more and more. Research is finding that women do need to take better care of themselves and that women tend to have more health issues then one thought.

I find that I have been doing a lot more research on my own health and well being. I have been looking into hormones and there benefits and problems I have also been looking into oral hcg. I really am trying to look at my health more and more and I am trying to get healthy. I need to and I really hope I can do this. I’m hoping to make some appointments soon, though money may stop me from doing that. Not having insurance and being a diabetic is not fun. It’s expensive and crazy. I wish I had insurance, but I just can’t afford it. It’s sad, but I still am hoping that I can at least keep trying to improve my health. It’s important for women to be healthy and I’m tired of not feeling well and having all these health issues.

I have been so busy over the last few weeks that I just can not seem to keep my head on right. I’ve forgotten to do things, my blogging is suffering and so is my weight loss. It’s crazy, but I’m going to work on a better balance. I guess I really need to watch what I ask for. I asked for a life and now I have one and it’s a little too much. I think mostly it’s my classes and since I have only 2 weeks left for one class it may help once that is over.

Having a life is good, don’t get me wrong, I’m just not use to going and going with diabetes. I’m so worn out once I do get a chance to sit that I can’t do much anyway. This is my downfall, I hope I get use to all of this though because I do like it. How do you juggle everything?

The other day I was walking around and realized I forgot to grab my cell phone. I had no idea what time it was and I needed to be somewhere at 2. It took me forever to find a clock and figure out that I missed my appointment. Luckily it was just with a friend so I was able to meet up with her later after I got home and called her.

So I found myself today looking at watches. I’ve looked at a ton of them, anything from a movado watch to a cheap watch that would only cost me a few dollars. I love having a selection of watches, well at least I use to, now that I have a cell I don’t wear one as much, but after the other day I am reminded that watches still have there place in my life and on my wrist and I really need to get one very, very soon.

Another reason I’m looking at watches is that my friend also has the same problem I do, she uses her phone for a watch and always forgets to grab it. I think it’s time she gets a really cool waterproof one that is hopefully unbreakable. She always manages to break everything she owns. What about you? Do you still wear a watch?

After over 2 months of struggling with Baker Collage I think everything will work out. (knock on wood) My loans are now pending so that I can get my books and buy a new computer that I need. I also will have gas money and that will make me very happy! It’s really been a long hard process and it’s been very annoying, but I’m happy to say that with any luck I will be done this term and I will never have to go back again!

Yes, I’m excited. I’m hoping to find work, if not I may be able to start my own design business and work on my masters degree. I really want to get more experience, but it seems that in order to get it you have to already have it. It’s sad.
