Everything and Anything

I love helping others, it’s just in my nature and when I do finally have the money to get a new car I may not trade it in, I may just have to take it to a car donation charity. One that I’m looking at is one that donates to our veterans, they have all worked hard to keep our country and other countries safe, yet many of them don’t have cars or homes even when they come back to the US. I think that sad and if I can donate a car and help a veteran out I will. It’s my patriotic duty after all.

Of course there are other benefits to donating your car, one is the wonderful tax write off you can get, something I may need at some point. There is the great feeling of doing something good for someone else and a car donation made by you just may make your friends think about donating too, making your donation even more helpful. I find it sad that we all keep thinking so much of ourselves, yes I do it too, but not anymore. I have decided that I need to start thinking of others before myself. I feel better when I do and I’ve noticed that karma does come back around and I like good karma.

I have though, managed to accomplish a few things. I have cleaned, done some work and even took a nap, yeah the heat made me tired. Now I’m nice and refreashed and ready to get back to work.

I was thinking though about favorite seasons. What is your favorite season and why? I love fall because of the colors and apples and pumpkins. I also love Christmas, yes in my life Christmas is a season. I love it because of all the colors and it’s a time to see family.

Okay, not really but I have found my nice and nephew favorite toys, they both love cars, yep that it okay that’s not it, but with their birthdays coming up in a few months I need to find a great toy soon and since soon people will be looking for Christmas gifts and the huge rush to find that elusive toy that will be the children’s favourites, I figure I better get something soon to avoid the rush.

It’s always hard to shop for kids that are not your own, though I don’t have kids, but I think it’s got to be harder, one you have no clue what they have, two you have no clue what they really want. Of course I could skip the toys and buy clothing, but that’s my stand by for Christmas so I think I’ll try to find that great toy for them instead. The good thing is that they are only going to be 3 and 4 so I don’t have to spend a ton to make them happy, but I still want to be that aunt that gives them tons of stuff, because that’s fun and I can do it without feeling bad. Besides I don’t have kids of my own to spoil so I have to spoil them.

So the weather here has me thinking of fall. It’s just now hit 70 degrees and it’s 8 pm. It’s been in the 60′s all day. I love fall so this weather makes me happy. I wish I had known it was going to be this cool I would have worn something warmer, but I spent some of my day reading under a blanket and the rest cleaning so the cool was not an issue.

I have decided though that I’m going to work on planning some cool events for Fall, I know I’m going to a local Renisance fair and I want to go apple picking and of course pick out pumkins but other then that I don’t know what I want to do. Fall is my favorate season so I like to make the most of it.

I need to get a friend of mine a really nice watch. I was looking at this dolce and gabbana watch and I think it would be perfect for him. It’s a mans watch and this guy is a man’s man. I love that it is a Chronograph as I know the one he currently has is, so I think it perfect! It’s also black, a huge must for this guy as that I believe is his favorite color, he always has something black on.

I found this watch at Bluedial.com and I think that they have a really good selection and they really explain the warranties and how the ordering process works really well. I hate sites where you go to order and you have no clue whats going on. I also really hate sites where they say there is a warranty but they can not seem to tell you what it is. Personally I don’t buy from those sites and would never recommend them to someone buying anything that would need a good warranty. You just never know what is going to happen. I also suggest that if you do shop with Blue Dial you check out their FAQ page as I found it very helpful in my search.

I have come to realize that things happen for a reason, there are people I have recently met that I would not have met if I had not been stuck here. If I had found work and moved away I would never have known them or at least it would have been a lot longer before I knew them. Some I ‘v met though friends, others I just ran into and started talking to them.

I think these things happen for a reason. People looking for love keep looking only to find that person when they stop looking. Someone who has had a rough time for years all of the sudden finds the person who can pull them out, but only after they have hit bottom. Theirs a reason for it all. Sometimes I wish the reason would just hurry up and present itself, but where is the lesson in that right?

Okay maybe you can take a vacation, currently I can not, but if I could I may just have had to check out villa rentals so I could actually relax and enjoy my vacation. I love the idea of renting a home somewhere and really learning about the culture. I hate vacations where you go somewhere and only check out the sites, you don’t learn about the people in the area, how they are and how they live. That really is the only way to experience a different place.

I would love to go to Italy and surround my self in that culture I just love everything I currently know about it and would love to learn so much more. I also would love to check out France, Germany and even Egypt. Where I want to go most though is Ireland just because I love the accent. I would probably come home with one as that is just how I am. I spoke with a Texas accent for a long time after I lived there. It was funny when people looked at me weird.
