Not only can they get the word out about your product or business quickly, but someone in advertising knows how to do it the right way and get you the results you need for your business to grow quickly and make you some much needed money.

Advertising is something that not everyone can do and you want to make sure the people you are using are good at what they do. They need to be professional and know the market you are trying to get into. They also need to cater to you, their client and not lump you in with a bunch of other people.

I personally have looked at a few advertising agency’s and one of the best ways to find a good one is not by seeing how pretty their website is, but by looking at whats on it, what they have done and who they have worked with. The bigger the companies in their portfolio the better, of course if you looking at a new advertising agency they may not have that, but could still be very good, so meet with different agents and find on that works with you, fits you needs and budget and will get your business up and running .

I recently did an experiment with my blog home style tips. I redesigned it so that I could use a new type of Google ad on it, the ever popular ad. I did this because everyone I talked to and people who wrote me about my blog told me that I could make so much more using this ad.

Boy were they wrong. My clicks dropped drastically. I’m talking I went 2 months with only $2 in click, way down from the $20-$30 I was getting, the worst part is that those numbers were on their way up. Who knows how much I missed out on. The good news is that I really didn’t like the design that much and have redesigned it again and launched it yesterday so that it not only looks so much better, but I’m also back to my link only Google ads and already have gotten better click stats.

The moral of this story, when it comes to blogging, do what works for you, sometimes those experts just don’t know what will work for your blog. Of course I don’t really expect them to after all it is my blog, not theirs.

I got onto Myspace today to see of some friends had written me back about a party I’m having in a couple of weeks. They didn’t, but as I was looking over the site I saw this ad that just made me very angry. Myspace is a site mostly for teens and young adults. Even if it wasn’t meant for that, that is what it is. The ad I saw was for some weight loss thing and usually there not horribly when the show the after, but this one was. This one showed a girl that looked anorexic and my first thought was “yes, lets show a bunch of young girls that they need to be anorexic.

Now I don’t know how Myspace does their banner advertising, but I really think they need to rethink showing that one. Girls need to realize that size is not as big of an issue as they think and being healthy no thin is the important thing, but with ad’s like this on the internet that will never happen.

I’m still wanting to start my home stageing and interior design business, but I don’t think I can get a regular business loan because my credit is so bad so I’m thinking about checking into a business cash advance that would take money from my credit card transactions instead since they don’t have a credit check I may be able to get the loan. The reason I’m looking at a merchant cash advance is really simple I don’t have to worry about paying things on time, they take it for me and I will have the money I will need for advertising. Yes word of mouth is good, but being able to advertise is even better. It’s still something I need to think about and I really don’t have to worry yet as I probably won’t start the business until January, but it at least for now is an option to get me through everything and I won’t have to worry about coming up with the cash I may need later.

About an hour after I wrote my last post I called a friend of mine to see if I could get back into wal-mart. Guess what, I can’t! So I really as always have no choice but to keep trying this online stuff. On top of that I thought after talking to this friend that I would see if the house I wanted was still up for sale as it would be cheaper to buy then rent, guess what, it’s sold.

As I have said before, and no one has believed me yet, I don’t get anything I want, which is why the online thing is sucking and not going anywhere, because I want/need money. The minute I don’t care I’ll get it trust me that’s how it always works. Oh but then there will be a catch of some sort.

So anyway I have decided that because it looks like google hates this blog again (not sure yet), that I am going to work on my other blogs that I don’t do paid posting on and see what I can do with them. I started an overhaul of my review blog, Savey Spender today. check it out and let me know what you think of the new design. I’m also going to be using what little money I’ll have left after food and medications to buy advertising for my get paid to post forum. I have no choice but to keep trying. Maybe one day something will be different and I’ll get what I want for a change.

I love when you get onto a website and all you see are good opinions of the site, yet when you go to another website all you see are bad things about the site, company or product. I usually don’t trust what a website says. I look around instead for User Website Reviews like the ones on Talkreviews.com. They have user reviews for a bunch of different websites and the navigation is awesome. The have it broken down into categories like shopping sites, kids sites and more. You can even review a website The best part is the reviews are from real people not advertising firms or someone working for the company hand picking the good reviews and throwing out the bad.

I was talking with an old friend earlier and he thinks that my job is Recession proof. Now I’m personally not so sure about that as last month I didn’t do very well, but he informed me that advertising actually can pick up when there is a recession because companies have to advertise to get people to shop at their store or buy their product.

I get what he is saying and it sounds great. I’m just wondering if I should be expecting a raise in income or just be thankful I have anything at all. I guess I just get to wait and see. Right now I’m thinking of teaching myself php, another supposedly recession proof job, computer programing.
