It’s My Birthday!

I am now 26 years old and still have no clue what I’m doing!

Today though should be a fun day. I am going to the casino with my sisters and a friend of one of theirs. I’m hoping to win something, but I’ll be okay if I don’t too. It will be nice to do something different this year. I need change.

Other then that I’m not planning much. None of my friends go out anymore so no bar visits tonight,even though I have been told I should go since it’s a Saturday. Not much fun when you have to go alone on your birthday. I really do need to move.

Pretty much I’ll be happy when it’s over and life starts moving again. I don’t get excited for my birthday because no one really remembers it except for my immediate family. It’s just too close to new years and christmas. I think though part of my issue is that I just want this year over with and for me the year does not end until after my birthday. Then it’s really over and I can look to next year. Yes I’m weird I know.

Anyway I should probably go start to get ready as we are going this afternoon when hopefully it’s not really busy, that way we can actually do something! Wish me luck.

Get an Olympic Gift Card

I use gift cards for everything. I love having them to give out to friends and I’m even giving them out on my forum. Gift cards I think are the best way to give a gift because the person can get what they want and you don’t have to worry about it. Right now you can get really cool limited time Olympic Gift Cards from gift card lab. I’m thinking of getting one for a friend who has just gone crazy over the Olympics. She’s a sports nut to begain with so it would be a great birthday gift for her, too bad I don’t have a ton to put on it, maybe I can talk some other people into pitching in.

Happy Birthday IZEA!

Today IZEA is 2 years old and I for one am very happy about that. They have helped me so much over the last year or so I have been with them. I have been able to catch up on some debt I have and hopefully finish that up within the next few months. Also I may be able to buy a home because of them. I love the company and hope to see it grow to much more over the next year and beyond.

So Happy Birthday IZEA. Lets make this year better and more profitable then next year.

My speech class this term is centered around business. It’s been really hard for me to do as our teacher just can’t seem to understand how interior design is business related. So I have been having a hard time with topics, but I have learned a few things that are really helpful. One of these being the importance of Business Birthday Cards. These cards can not only be sent to customers, but to your employees as well to make them feel important and cared about. Happy workers mean better work done. At least that is my opinion.

There are many places you can get business cards, one is a website called the Gallery Collection. I like this site because they offer low prices since the cards are ordered directly from the publisher. You don’t pay a middle man. The other great thing is that the cards are high quality. They don’t skimp on anything. This really can help your business by showing the customer that you care about the quality of the work you do and the products you buy. This is something many business don’t think about, so take a step up and do something different.

Mothers Day Fun and Ideas

Usually we don’t make a huge fuss over mother’s day. My mom’s birthday is in April and we usually do something then, but in May the last 2 years my little sisters have had things going on as they were getting ready to graduate from high school. This year no one is doing anything so we figure it would be a good year to do something for mom.

Unfortunately because of my older sisters work schedule we will have to plan it before mothers day, but thats okay. We have some ideas in our head about what to do. My little brother said buy her flowers, my sisters say a gift card. I know right now 1800 flowers is doing a special thing for moms, Celebrate Mom For Who She Is Contest. It sounds interesting and I like the idea of winning over $30,000 in stuff, but for me mom mom really doesn’t fall into one of those categories. They need an other category!

I really have no idea what we may end up doing, but I think taking her out for dinner would be fun. On the other hand doing that for her birthday may be more fun, and doing a family grilling or something would be good for mothers day as we have a large family and it would cost a good amount to go out and eat. Who knows my little sisters tend to come up with their own thing when we try to plan anything so it may just be a wait and see.

Since today is my 25th Birthday you get to look at this cute picture of a cake. I didn’t take this one, but I found it a few days ago for my desktop and thought it was fitting. My plans for the day include lunch with my friend who’s birthday is also today.

It’s strange when I think about everything I wanted to do by now.

I have done nothing.

Not because I haven’t tried, it just never worked out and now I am a quarter of a century old today. That makes me feel kinda old!
