Be a best selling author?

Posted by Holly on Feb 10, 2008 under Books, work from home

I have always loved writing. I have tons of stories in my head about different people, subjects and events. I have started a few books, but have never finished them. Either I lose interest or I am told you will never be able to do anything with it anyway. I do keep trying though. I started this great fantasy but I can’t seem to put it onto paper the way I see it in my head so I probably will start something else. Maybe I’ll write a romance novel or something.

Apparently there are ways to beat the system and get your book out there and maybe even on the New York times best seller list. Yep there is a way.  John Kramer has come up with a way to make you a New York Times Best Selling Author. You can use the information in his teleseminar to achieve what you may not have been able to before.

I’m interested in this information. I don’t know if I’ll ever finish a book to use it, but who knows maybe I will.

Pick up a book and get lost

Posted by Holly on Feb 5, 2008 under product review

I love reading. It’s relaxing and can really take you to another place that even a well written and visully stimulating movie can’t. You can get lost in a book for hours and I think that this book I’m going to tell you about is one of those books.

We all have a fasination with Hollywood even if it’s just a small curisity. I have always wondered what it would be like to be one of the normal types who knew the stars. In the book Celebutantes this is almost the case. Lola is the daughter of Hollywood elite, her father is a director and she is now givin the task of getting stars to wear her clothes to the oscars. She also likes to date actors and can’t seem to get things right.

This sounds to me like a very interesting read. Of course you men reading this may not like that too much, but hey you just had the superbowl, and I’ll be talking about NASCAR soon. Anyway if your interested you can get this book at amazon.com right now it’s on preorder, but it comes out at midnight so you can always get it then too.

Would it really be so bad?

Posted by Holly on Dec 14, 2007 under Books

I had a weird set of events this week. I decided that I was going to read, so I picked up a really good book of fiction the The Da Vinci Code and started reading. Keep in mind this is the 5th time I have read it. So yesterday I sit down and what is on the history channel, another favorite of mine, but shows about the book.

This is a very controversial book and I understand why. It changes everyones thinking, but we do have to remember it is a work of fiction. Having said that. What would be so bad about Jesus being married. Personally I think it would be cool and would actually fit in with the times. Jews married, that was the point of living, get married have kids populate the world. I’m not saying I believe it actually did occur, I need more proof for that, but at the same time I have always said the bible is written by men, god did not send us the bible. He may have spoken to people, but man decided what went into it.

So who is to say they didn’t want to keep it a secret that Jesus was married? They may have they may not have. We don’t know, but what we do know is that the customs of the day show it is possible. As I said I think it would be cool and it would make him seem not so out of reach of society. Right now I know many who are atheist who have told me the reason they are is that they don’t believe in Jesus, they do think there could be a god figure. The problem with Jesus is, he’s too perfect, it’s not possible to be that perfect.

They also go on to tell me that they feel they need to be a perfect person to be in any religion, this is why I have said before that extreme Christan’s need to shut up and leave these people be. They do drive them away. But with these new theories people are asking questions. It does make me wonder if the Apocalypse is just a change in thinking and that maybe we will learn a truth or two. If it’s that Jesus was married so be it, but it could also be something else. There are endless possibilities.
