Hair loss and fixing it

I was talking to a guy in my class the other day about hair loss. He is about 30-40 and is starting to lose his hair. He figured there really is not much he can do to change that fact. In his mind it’s just part of aging. But he’s also newly single as his wife left him for someone else and he has noticed that many women think he’s older and won’t give him the time of day.

I felt bad for him. I know what he feels like as I a women have been losing my hair since I was 12. I wear a wig and day to day it’s not a big deal. But many men that I have tried to date have been turned off by this fact or just can’t deal with it. One even told me if it was because of cancer he would be okay because he could explain it to his friends.

Anyway I told this guy to check online and compare hair loss products. One little known one, at least to me is Procerin. I heard about this a few weeks ago but forgot to check it out then. Now I have been reminded and I think it could help this guy out. The best part is it’s all natural and a pill. I know many people who don’t want to deal with all the gel and cream stuff that is out there. I know I hated using it when I tried it.

Memories and loved ones

As you know, if you read my last post, I had my presentation speaking class yesterday. One of the speeches was about cancer insurance and every time I hear the word cancer I think of my dad. He died from Colon cancer. It’s still very hard to think about it, I was 21 when he died and it was a huge ordeal and something I don’t’ want any young person to go though, even though I know they do and some much younger then I was.

During the drive home I kept thinking about how my dad always had a pocket watch. he loved having one and never wore an actual watch. My sister still has it somewhere, I’m not sure where. It made me smile thinking about it. Losing someone is so hard and really can have a huge effect on the rest of your life. Even my niece who was 4 when my father passed is still effected, there have been a few times where she will say she misses grandpa. Sometimes you smile when she says it, sometimes it just puts a small knot in your stomach. People say it will get better with time, but I haven’t seen too much improvement yet.
