I think the auto bail out is both a good and a bad thing, they do need some help and if they don’t get it millions will lose their jobs, not just here but around the world. Yes I know many people think that the auto companies failing is good thing and that they deserve it, but I don’t believe it is totally their fault.

I blame the Unions, Now I’m not anti union, I just don’t like the auto union. One, getting paid $30 or more to push a button is not right, on top of that most of the jobs offered there do not require a collage degree. Now keep in mind when I state that $30 an hour, that does not include benifits and retirement. We will put it this way, my grandfather makes more then my dad does with his GM retirement plan then my step dad does working. Something is wrong with that in my opinion.

Personally I think if there is a bailout plan offered to them it needs to include wage caps for workers for at least the next 20 years and requre that most of the money go to green car research because that is what we need. This of course is just my opinion, what do you think? (be nice)

So I’m finally watching the race and there was a huge wreck already, they have red flagged it ( put the race on hold) until the mess is cleaned up. They don’t do this often so if you don’t watch NASCAR, you can get an idea it’s bad. There was fire and a car flipped and I sat there with my mouth dropped to the floor.

So anyway I decided to get online and write about it. What was kinda funny about the whole thing is that my mom asked how much their life insurance was, because they were worried that one of the drivers was hurt. I wonder what their term life insurance quote would be! okay so I’m weird, but I really don’t want to know how much they pay, of course they may not pay much, it may be a perk of the job who knows.

Anyway, now I’m sitting here wondering whats going to happen next, they are talking about how bad the track is right now so who knows how long they will be racing today. At least I have the Oscars to watch if they stop, if they don’t I will be flipping between the two.

I’m going to be looking for a new car soon and I want to make sure I get a good deal and a good car. A few years ago I bought a car that I thought was a really nice good running car. Unfortunately I found out later that it had been in an accident and the dealer fixed it up and sold it to me without telling me. The car died within a year and I had to replace the engine, that is how I found out about the crash.

I shouldn’t have this problem again since there are sites out there like CARCHEX where you can get Free help shopping for a car. Places like these will help you find the exact car you want and negotiate a price for that car. They also help with trade ins and get you the best deals. I have always been interested in these services. It seems like it would be a great way for someone like me, a women to get a car. I have tried shopping at some dealerships where I know they are jacking up the price on it. I have even been told that they want to speak to my husband or boyfriend when I tell them I’m not paying the price they quote. I don’t know much about cars but I know enough to have an idea of what a car is worth. Unfortunately I’m still female so I don’t know anything. This is why I think a Car Buying Concierge would be a great option. I’m still looking into it, I may just try to get my sisters boyfriend to go with me though if he has time.

Well my plans for today fell through, but my sister is having a party so I’m going to be heading over there soon. I’m excited this year Brain made it into the race so I can cheer him on. Along with Kasey of course.

I love the excitement of it all. You get ready to watch and wonder who is going to win? Who is going to crash and what problems will happen with these cars. The best part about nascar is the excitement factor. You pick a car and hope it makes it to the end.
