I have hit a 9 month stall when it comes to losing weight I lose 5 lbs and gain 8, then I lose 9 lbs and gain 6. I just can’t seem to get past my 270 mark, as of today I’m up at 281lbs. I hate it, part of it is I have spent more time online trying to earn some cash and less time being active. I blame this on google, you all know why. Maybe I should just start popping some diet pills and hope they don’t have horrible side effects later.

I keep having to remind myself that some of this is also stress. If you were 10,000 in debt without including the student loans and only made somewhere between 300 and 700 a month you would be stressed out too. Much of my income goes to medication and gas to get to school. Maybe I’ll get lucky and find a job, oh wait then I still won’t have time to exercise.

Being a broke collage student I am always looking for ways to make some extra cash. I do work online and have thought about starting my own business up soon. I also have noticed a service that is becoming very popular right now, a service where you can Trade your Gold for fast cash. I love the sound of that and I think I may have something that is actually gold, but I don’t want to part with it just yet. I had a few gold things once I could have sold, but someone stole them from me. Yes that’s my luck. I found a great site, Gold and Stone Exchange that will send you an exchange kit so that you can send in your gold. It’s an easy form to fill out and it’s free.

I just think of what I could have paid off if I had the jewelry that was taken from me. One bracelet was worth $500 when I had it appraised 6 years ago. I’m sure with the price of gold it would be worth more now. I could pay off a good chunk of my debt with that alone. It would be nice to have one or two less bills to worry about. Since I don’t have it anymore all I can do is dream about a life with one less bill. Sad I know.

I’m still waiting for my student loans to credit to my account. I’m hoping they do soon and that I can get my refund this week. The school has not bothered to tell us when we will be getting the refund since Friday is the 4th of July. I’m just hoping I don’t have to wait until August like I did last year. That would suck.

So anyway I’m trying to be good and not go crazy. It’s not working as my computer keeps reminding me why I need to get a new one. The worst part is after I get my money I still have to order the laptop online from Wal-Mart.com, because the laptop I want is not available in any store in my state. It’s only going to take a week to get here though, so it will be okay once I order it. It’s just waiting to see if I get that money that sucks.

I have been working on learning more about Affiliate marketing. I’m really excited about starting this and hope to get going this summer. I am a member of a few affiliate networks but one that I think will do the best is the Pepperjam affiliate network. The main reason I think this is that they have some products that I haven’t seen in other networks that I am a part of. These products I think will really sell better.

Of course I just need to learn how to do this right and I know I have a lot more to learn about it. This is just something new I’m going to try out as I need to start finding a way to get extra cash without having to give up so much time. I have a year still to do it, so I have time to get it going, but I’m hoping to make around 1000 a month online after I graduate without a ton of time put into it. This way I can start paying down my student loans and get a new car. I think Affiliate marketing is the way to do this.

Believe it or not some business still don’t take credit cards. I ran into one yesterday and was reminded of a speech one of my classmates did last week. Her restaurant does not accept credit cards and they are always turning people away. This is the same thing that happened to me yesterday luckily it was a store so I just left and went somewhere else. Needly to say it’s a store I won’t be going into again as I hardly ever have cash.

It’s actually an easy process to accept credit cards. You just have to subscribe to a service. You get a machine that will read them and your good to go. The company does everything for you. They take out the fees, and send the rest on to you once they get paid. It depends on the credit card company though some will not pay you until the customer pays them.

I know how easy it is to take credit cards, I did it when I sold Avon. I used one of the old manual ones though, at least until I was sent forms for them to fill out instead. I usually encouraged them to just shop online with my website, that way they didn’t worry about me stilling there information. I wouldn’t but I don’t trust many people, so I don’t expect many to trust me.

Last night in my presentation speaking class one student talked about the fair tax. He pointed out that some people who have a lot of money don’t pay any taxes because they have put it all in stocks. He also stated that having a fair tax would take care of this issue. I found this interesting and looked into it a little more at fairtax.org.

I found that having a fair tax set at 23% would actually provide more income for the government then the current tax system does. Now this tax would apply to retail items and the income tax would disappear. That means you would get more money in your pay check to offset the retail tax.

I like this because I then control how much I pay based on my input into the economy. This would also help with people who are paid cash for work as they too will have to pay this tax. I’m sure there is much more to it then what I have stated here, and I plan on doing more research, but I am wondering what you think of having a fair tax?

I love my hosting company. They managed to fix my forum so it works again! I’m very happy and even though Blogger Love’s very plain right now I’m hoping to fix it up a little. I don’t want to do too much to it as I don’t want to get it messed up again.

I don’t think it was me last time, someone told me the theme I had allowed someone to hack into the forum and delete the passwords. Luckily before I put the theme up I did do a backup so I was able to start back where we left off.

It’s not a very big forum, but the membership I had was a very good group. So if you were a member and thought we were gone, check out the new forum for bloggers.

Blogger Love is now closed, if you are looking for a new forum, check out cash and chat, we do have a blogging section and it’s a paid to post.
