Everything and Anything

Well I have decided that my math teacher is a Bitch. Yep I said it, she is a bitch. Apparently if you don’t have a math problem in your response to something it is not a meaningful post. So I am now going to fail this class because she is an incompetent fool.

She never said what she actually considered a decent post. She didn’t help anyone until it was too late, really I’m not impress and tempted to contact the school and ask for my money back. I don’t feel that she is a good teacher for an online class. There were many first time online students who had no idea what to do as she just assumed everyone had taken an online class.

I really needed to pass this class and now I just don’t see it happening. I just don’t know what to do. I can’t drop it now without paying for the whole thing. I’m waiting for her response as to why my post are bad and if she can’t give me a good response I guess I’m going to have to go into a huge argument with the school.

Oh and again never ever go to Baker Collage, they suck. The only reason I’m still there is that my credits won’t transfer anywhere else.

I started my online math class this week and I think it will be okay. I really hope I can pass it this time as this is the third time I have taken it. Okay I have actually passed it, just not with the grade needed to move to the next class.

The biggest problem I have is that I can’t take the class on campus because of the drive so I have to take it online, that means that participation is a huge part of my grade. Unfortunately I don’t understand the concepts enough to talk about them. I think though that there are a few other people who are like me so maybe that will help and we won’t have people from the accounting major using words we don’t know. The second time I took this class everyone but 3 of us were accounting majors. It sucked.

Anyway wish me luck and if you have a fun math knowledge I can use to start a discussion let me know. I may need the help.

yesterday I had class, we are working on a group project and I thought it was going well. One of the girls in the group is getting upset because we are not done and she thinks that because we are not almost done that we are behind and it’s not going to be done or done well. I’m not worried about it, but I think that is because I am pretty much done with what I need to do. Now I’m working on our model that I had hoped would be done last week. It wasn’t and I don’t care anymore. I can’t change it so I’m not going to stress over it.

I think these problems are just the reason that schools do group work. Even on a college level. You have to learn how to work with people and get the job done. This girl is a nice person she just wants everything perfect. Eventually she will learn it will almost never happen that way. Something will go wrong. I know for her a big part of it is that she wants to keep her GPA up. I gave up on that after my dad died and I couldn’t get some of the work done for my classes in time for the end of the term 2 weeks later. Apparently Baker Collage doesn’t think that a parent dying is a good reason to give an incomplete. Anyway I think this is a good learning experience for everyone and I’m happy that they had a class like this.

It’s been a long 2 weeks trying to get everything for class done. We still didn’t get our model done, but I think it will be okay. I just wish that after all the work I put in we would have been better. The worst part is I went out and bought stuff to finish it with and now I have no money, I have no gas and no way to get to class today. Oh and we didn’t use the stuff I bought yet. We probably won’t until next week.

I’m thinking I may go in and take some of it back today and buy it when I have the money. I just don’t see a reason to have it right now if we are not going to use it. At least I will do that if I get money to get to class. Today is the expo too and I wanted to check it out. There is a huge possibility of employers being there and I want to be in the classroom working for at least a few hours. I need to do everything I can to find work right now.

Yesterday I was told off for being angry that I had to wait at a drive thru speaker for almost 5 minutes. By the way I was told off by the girl that ignored the fact that I was there. Now today I drove 4 hours for no reason. My class was canceled because the teacher was sick and decided to wait until 5 to call everyone.

Now I’m not mad at the teacher, and I wasn’t really mad class was canceled I didn’t really want to be there anyway. I was mad because gas cost me $40 every day I drive down, and I have to eat dinner out. So it’s a $50 drive for no reason. The other problem was I decided that since I made the drive I could work on a project for another class, but no, I couldn’t as there are classes in all of the drafting rooms tonight. So I drove home.

I also missed out on a ton of blogging money which didn’t make me any happier. All in all a bad few days. I do have good news though, I think I have found my car and I get to actually check it out tomorrow. My mom has seen it, my sisters boyfriend has seen it, but I haven’t. Sad I know, but it’s another Neon so I have an idea of what it looks like, I just want to test it out. That was another bump today, we went to check it out and the guy had driven it an hour away to test it and make sure it ran well on the freeway. I’m excited though I made an appointment to look at it tomorrow.
