Everything and Anything

I feel strange, this year I don’t have a sibling graduating. I’m not graduating either, but one of my friends from school will be and I’m sure she will be looking for graduation invitations. A Collage graduation is a little different when you go to a community or business collage, most people don’t go all out for invitations they keep it simple and only have a few guest. I know thats what I did when I got my associate degree, my bachelors I may send out something for and maybe have a small get together.

Anyway I recommended to my friend Vista print. As I love using them, they are very fast and the product is good. I’ll find out tomorrow if she used them or not. Thats when I’ll see her. I love vista print because every time I use them I get a great product at a good price. With the graduation invitations you can get 10 for $7.99. For her that would work out great I think she only needs about 8 or 9. I would need more then 10, but thats still a great deal. I’m kinda worried about next year, it will be very strange to not have this girl there and of course the fact that I’m going to be done next year too. It went by fast, even with the half year or so I took off.

yesterday I had class, we are working on a group project and I thought it was going well. One of the girls in the group is getting upset because we are not done and she thinks that because we are not almost done that we are behind and it’s not going to be done or done well. I’m not worried about it, but I think that is because I am pretty much done with what I need to do. Now I’m working on our model that I had hoped would be done last week. It wasn’t and I don’t care anymore. I can’t change it so I’m not going to stress over it.

I think these problems are just the reason that schools do group work. Even on a college level. You have to learn how to work with people and get the job done. This girl is a nice person she just wants everything perfect. Eventually she will learn it will almost never happen that way. Something will go wrong. I know for her a big part of it is that she wants to keep her GPA up. I gave up on that after my dad died and I couldn’t get some of the work done for my classes in time for the end of the term 2 weeks later. Apparently Baker Collage doesn’t think that a parent dying is a good reason to give an incomplete. Anyway I think this is a good learning experience for everyone and I’m happy that they had a class like this.
