I have been working hard to try to figure out how I am going to pay off my debt. It seems that everyone I talk to just tells me to do balance transfers and put the money on a new card. Unfortunately it’s a little late for that as all of my credit card debt is in collection accounts. Yes my debt is that bad, that is what happens when you lose your job and can’t find one for over a year, twice!

I’m slowly working on it, but it’s just not happening fast enough. I was thinking I might try to take a loan out on my car, but I don’t know if I want another company checking my credit, since that brings down your score too. I hate that, why can’t they give you a few free ones? Someone who is trying to get a loan or a credit card to help build their credit is just screwed and gets a credit score that is even worse. Really I think the scores favor the rich who have money, not the ones that need the credit.

I am trying to get my credit back togeather and it seems like it’s a huge up hill battle. I just logged onto my personal credit report on true credit and found that bills I had paid a few months ago still don’t show as paid. I just don’t understand what is so hard about getting on a computer and saying  yes the bill has been paid. I still owe a ton more money anyway but it would be nice to see if even the 300 I paid will do anything to my score.

The other day I added all of my debt up without my student loans I still owe about $6,000 one from a credit card where 2,000 is fee’s, yes just fees because they lied to me and told me the money would come off of my card, not out of my bank account. Lets just say I will never have an American Express again. They just lie to you and blame you. Yep so right now they are last on my list to get paid. I only owed them 700 or so that I pulled off te card. It’s up to over $3000. I just don’t get how they can do that.

Anyway I’m hopeing to get caught up soon. In one year I graduate and I will about about 50,000 in student loans to pay. I don’t think it will ever end.
